I have read that it's a issue and ya'll will look into it.. Whelp, it's been in my upgrade section for 2wks now and I can't move it. So let's go ahead and make this your 1st priority and fixing whatever to get it off the upgrade line. It's frustrating when you get a notification for something that won't go away! Other than that good job on the games;)
Says it needs to update Play Games in Updates. I try to. Starts, then quits on its own and shows it still needs an update. When in the app store, it just shows open or uninstall - no update. Doesn't seem to affect anything else but is incredibly annoying that it won't clear. This has been going on since October, please get it together and fix it already!
For as long as I've used it, has been totally reliable for backing up my game data and profile for compatible games. Sometimes it's a bit wonky with auto sign-in, and I feel like it doesn't always tell me when an achievement is earned. Also fun that it comes with some simple games like minesweeper, solitaire, and snake that are available offline and can play anytime. Overall, a well rounded gaming app 🖒
It has all games listed, but they no longer work from here, and your play isn't calculated towards any of your profiles. I fixed the payments from the old account to the new account. It reverted back after the update, and now I can't make purchases again. What's the point of the app again? Always crashes. How can I clear the cache when it disappeared and NO option to reload? It's funny that they always respond the same way across all platforms. Clear your cache etc. No duh
I tried out a new game and it now says that I need to install this app to save progress. From what I've read, this app does nothing but create or compound problems. I only played the game for one day, so have not invested any money, no great loss, but I enjoyed because it was not a straight up cash hog. You could play without investing your life savings. Now Google has come up a way to get more $$ via 3rd party software from a game they initially offered/sponsored, talk about dbl dipping.
Pretty useful app if it actually works all the time. I logged into a game with my Google Play account, and it kept saying something like "Login account data sync unsuccessful. Please login later" until it brought back half of my original progress. HALF. That is frustrating already, but soon after the game logged me out again with the message stated above. And I play another game which can't even connect to this app, but when I go into Google Play Games, I see achievements for that game.
I love the new dark theme! Can you make it possible to follow friends? I have friends I follow on Google Plus but they still don't show up in my friends list on play games, it should just be possible to search people's gametags and follow them. the only reason why I cant give 5 stars is because of the difficulty to have friends and followers. I feel like it would be an expected feature to be able to search and follow friends and players. having friends make it better
I've been using points for in-game purchases for years. Today, for the first time, I bought a Google Play credit. It was only for $1. My in-game purchase was $0.99 + tax. They will NOT let me use my credit and charge the balance...play credit basically wasted till I get at least one more but that will be way over the actual purchase amount. GARBAGE. Not worth buying play credits. Buy them through the game app or specific game credits only or you're screwed.
Ignore the sniveling crybabies. This game can be played for free without draining your account. If you want top of the line on your first day then yes you have to pay. if you work your way through the levels you can get what you need. Fun game with good layouts. No issues, so far. Some of the players are not very good, but soon figure it out. Like Mikey says try it you'll like it!
Games suddenly won't open. Edited: it's been about a week, and nothing has changed. I've tried clearing cache, restarting phone, and deleting/reinstalling app, and nothing is working. Clearly, from the reviews, I'm not the only one with this issue. Deleting app if not fixed in a couple of days...what's the point of a game launcher that won't launch? Edit #2: there is no change. I have cleared cache, deleted and reinstalled, and my games are still not opening.
