Reviews for GoPass ®

after purchasing a pass, I thought I needed to slide to activate it and it would be good for an extended period of time. Quite the opposite, it's good for one day. I needed it for next week. Nothing indicates obviously that if you activate it, it's only good for one day. I called customer service and they wouldn't refund me or even "Un activate" it. Trash.

The orange line offers Dallas citywide connecting public transportation to all. However, cleanliness, safety, ticket purchases, and travel timelines are very inconsistent.

for any having issues of the app crashing when booking, try making sure you have lyft and uber installed on your phone. fixed it for me. didnt fully restore to 5 stars because trying to get a rider to pay for a ride twice is deceptive and wrong, or just poorly trained.

update: Two years later the app still randomly loses on-demand rides. No idea why this time around. 2023: When my network changed from cell to a wifi with a bad cert for its captive portal, app glitched out and wouldn't show details for the on demand ride i booked, even after i fixed the network issue. Only SMS notifications still worked. Fortunately the local Tulsa transit driver went around the block twice to try to find me.

After the latest update my Go pass app continually crashes. in order to get it to work again I have to uninstall it and then reinstall it. and then it may only work for a day or two after that and then I have to uninstall it and reinstall it again. all the other apps on my phone work perfectly fine except for this one.

Much of the app feels very polished, but the core use case is very painful: once you've selected a route you want to follow you cannot pull up your tickets without abandoning the route, and once you are on a moving bus then that is the one route timetable the app will never consider. The planning page button to "buy tickets" should be repurposed to pull up your active ticket if you have one and this would become very convenient.

A great convenience! Easy to use and always available. No more hassles with the ticket booths, especially since a lot of them are inoperable, at times. No more having to search for your ticket since it's right on your phone. Of course you must have a valid Credit/Debit Card on the App or pay the DART Store money to put into your account. Great App!

For the most part, I have really appreciated the convenience this app provides. However, on a recent trip, the app indicated that it was not able to process my request (looked like a network issue). However, it proceeded to charge my card for the passes. They are available now (3 days later), but I no longer need them, and don't really know when I will use them. I wish I knew how to get a refund, rather than trying to find a reason to ride the train.

You can't book rides more than a half hour before you need it. You can't set a pickup time. You can't change your booking. You can't use an active ticket for rides on the app, you have to show the driver. You can't book connecting rides. All of these problems are on the schedule on demand service for the micro transit. These all need fixed to improve the rating.

Would be amazing if it worked more than once. I downloaded the app and it worked great at first, minimal issues. A few months later, it takes 5 minutes to tell me there was an error. I try reinstalling, it says that the servers did not respond, and now I'm blocked out for a few minutes because *I* put in too many codes. Unfortunate. This app was pretty good at first.

the app is good only if you have network connection. otherwise you won't be able to open it. This is frustrating because when you are under the tunnel and the DART personnel wants to see your ticket, it doesn't open!! It leads to awkward moments. Why don't you keep the View Ticket section available for offline showing and sync it occasionally instead of tying it to the whole app?

The speed of the app was good. There wasn't much lag going while going from one option to another. One of the functions that I can think of that needs improvement is when trying to request a micro link bus for the night line service, the schedule doesn't immediately show for that option. It just gives me the regular daytime options whenever I'm searching for the night line schedule. Another improvement would be if the payment option would allow me to select, "bus pass." Other than that it's cool

Had been good until yesterday evening. Now it is giving me issues of immediately closing agree I click on the app to open it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, closing the cache and storage, etc. Even the contactless tap stuff has not worked at all for me today. And a lot of the machines that have the credit card option to get your pass have been broken.

The app is very user friendly, the option to save a profile would be beneficial. Example: I had purchased a one month pass, so just spent $100 bucks. A few days later my phone was stolen. So I reinstalled the app, put in my phone number to "login", but my purchase of the month pass did not save. So I had to drop another $100. Good for DART, not for the customer. A profile using login credentials(email and a password)to create saved profiles would save riders in the situation a lot of grief.

This new app has way too many bugs, it's supposed to track buses along the route in what seems real time but the buses are either too early or too late, according to the maps the bus will be a couple of stops along the way but when it gets to your stop it never shows, the app refreshes itself and then you're stuck waiting for the next one. I have to guess when they're coming and in this extreme heat I can't afford to do that. The bus tracker is SO unreliable!

I would rate it higher since it does technically serve it's purpose, but it's so glitchy it's almost like a college student wrote the program: 1.) The walking instructions sometimes say to walk for an hour and a half even when the busses are running 2.) The walking instructions think we are flying cause it literally just draws a straight line to where you're going (through buildings and lakes) 3.) You can't set the departure time to a previous time or date.

Truly horrible! I see no one else talking about this, but every time I ask for a go link ride, it doesn't give me any notifications or saying if it's getting an Uber. I would order it one hour before like it asks to, and by the time I need to have the ride, nothing. It'll be 5 minutes pass the time and say it got canceled and couldn't find anything at all. I would have to try so many times for it to finally start working , so anywhere beware! It won't always be good

The App & GoLink is great unless you have to be somewhere at a specific time. It's impossible to plan. If the trip requires 2 GoLinks, it should let you book them at the same time. The new "simplied" fare structure isn't easier. It's more stressful, especially when the buses aren't on time. Or when GoLink says it'll be 45-minute until pickup. And, the Rate Your Driver page doesn't let you rate your driver anymore.

I 💜 the concept of this app. Being able to buy bus fare and not have to stand up with the bus moving to pay my fare is totally awesome and makes things easier. The thing I will like to request is that you make the tickets available on the🤳🏾 and not through data. Because when your data is not available, the ticket doesn't come up, forcing you to pay twice for your🎫. Also, the timing for the bus location is never accurate. Buses are never there at that time, making you wait or miss the 🚌.

Trying to buy tickets for the train today and the app is useless. Can't add payment form without going through the account setup (which is fine) except that when you put in your name and zip code there's no way way to proceed.... The only option it gives is "skip for now". So what's the point here!?!! One star is too good of a rating when you are prevented from using it at all.
