Terrible app! More often than not it doesn't find the camera. I constantly have to "forget" it from Bluetooth and re-pair it. And I just made the mistake of signing up for the cloud service. What a huge mistake that was! It only uploads when plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi, and that's if/when it even connects. Oh, and the "auto" upload? I have to scan for Wi-Fi networks every time, and when I find the WiFi network that it has already used, I still have to enter the password! How is that auto?

app is pretty much useless for older generation gopro, barely connects to my old hero3 after turning the camera power and wifi on and off several times, and once you lose the connection you have to start over. not surprised, this company only cares about getting you to buy the newest camera and add-ons, of course they don't care about supporting their old tech.

000 stars! 1. Media disappears off cloud! Paid for space, but it downloads ALL my media everytime I connect & fills up phone (99% used)! 2. My credit card changed, but I can't access payment methods in the app. NO PHONE # to call. Email replies to "payment didn't process" bounces back "not delivered"! 3. App UNRELIABLE! Hours lost!! It won't play, won't open, nothing! After a year, no better! Will let my subscription expire. No one to help, no plan to fix it. Will look a different editing app!

After fighting with the app for an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't get it to connect to my gopro, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it finally let me put in the pass code number from the camera and then it let me make a name and password for it. Now, it shows my camera on the app, but it won't let me connect to it. I did everything the error message recommended, and still nothing. You would think that such a big-name camera company would do better with this app. Over it!

uploading videos from the go pro is fine. editing is fine. but when I go to download the video, it gets stuck on preparing the video. I left the phone trying to do it over night and it's was stuck at 72%. I can't even share with a link. I have since restarted the phone cleared the cache, uninstalled reinstalled. now it's preparing video 0% for the last 30 minutes

This is the worst experience I've ever had. I've had the camera for two years now and I've never, ever been able to either download the captures through the Android app or upload anything to their cloud. Getting it connected to a WiFi network to begin with is extremely painful. After several hours of waiting for uploads it just sits at 0 of whatever I have. The Highlights apparently only work with the cloud, which is impossible to use. I'm moving to DJI since their cameras are better anyways.

Even having the subscription, on some day I lost access to my media library, and can't renew it for a month. The support doesn't work at all. I submitted 5 requests during the last month describing the issue and they just sent a generic message "we check your subscription" and then disappeared. Very disappointing. I didn't expect it from a well known company.

Can't do basic things like list the media files in the unit. App says there are new files but continuously can't find them and states can't download when I tap Download. I should be able to get the files onto my phone with this app so it's not very useful in its current state. The delete options in settings don't work either. I shouldn't need a subscription to anything just to accomplish these elementary tasks.

For such a big company app is lacking... One of the annoying things is the editing limits of how long your video is according to the music you choose, with no option to loop the music. It will then delete your edits to make it fit, undoing your work. The only good thing is the automatic videos it creates to give you ideas. It edits from the cloud with no need to download. There are better free mobile editing apps on Android, but you have to download clips to your device taking up memory.

Quik works great for capturing video on the fly while motorcycling. The preview feature is a plus when you camera is mounted in a location you can't see. The quality of the image is very clear, and you have the option to turn-on, start, stop, or end capture. Haven't tried the editing feature yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
