So here's my honest take on GoTalk Everywhere. I've tested a bunch of AAC apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The ability to create custom communication boards and sync them across devices is a game-changer. And the library of pre-made boards is helpful for getting started. At the same time, the app can be a little buggy and unintuitive at times. But for a free app, it's hard to complain too much. If you need a flexible, cloud-connected AAC tool, GoTalk Everywhere is worth a look.

Description

Been using GoTalk Everywhere for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you create and share communication boards for people who need AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) support. Pretty solid app if you’re an SLP, teacher, or caregiver working with folks who need help communicating.

Here’s what you can do: You can make your own communication boards with text, symbols, and even your own photos. And there’s a library of pre-made boards you can use too. The best part is you can sync your boards across devices, so anything you create on your computer will show up on your phone or tablet. Took me a while to figure out how to do that, but it’s super useful.

Look, if you work with kids or adults who need AAC tools, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – the user interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to download and use.
