Been using GPS Altimeter – Altitude App for a couple months now. It’s basically a super precise altimeter that uses GPS and barometric data to show your exact altitude, even in tough terrain or bad weather. Pretty solid app if you’re into hiking, climbing, or just spending time outdoors.
Here’s what you can do: you can check your current altitude, track elevation changes, and view your altitude profile over time. And there’s also a feature to set altitude alarms, which is pretty cool. And you can save your favorite locations and track your routes – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s actually really useful.
Look, if you’re the kind of person who likes to know exactly how high up you are, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need an accurate altimeter for your outdoor adventures.
