So here's my take on GPS Speedometer: Speed Tracker. I've tested a bunch of these types of apps and this one's pretty solid. And the speed tracking is accurate, the interface is clean and easy to use, and the extra features like the HUD and offline mode are nice touches. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other apps, but it gets the basics right. Might not be the flashiest option out there, but it's reliable and does what it promises.

Description

Been using GPS Speedometer: Speed Tracker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you track your speed and driving distance using your phone’s GPS. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a real-time speedometer that shows your current speed. It’s got an odometer too, so you can see how far you’ve traveled. And the HUD mode is kind of cool – it’ll reflect your speed on your windshield so you don’t have to look down at your phone. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s a nifty feature.

Look, if you’re into tracking your driving or cycling stats, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the speed alerts can be a bit annoying sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a simple, no-frills speedometer.
