Reviews for GPS Speedometer: Speed Tracker

At 71 years of age and still enjoying a bicycle and walking I give this app a 5 star rating. Simple and to the point. No fancy bells and whistles. Commercials are not so much, they spoil the experience. I recommend this app for all who want simple and efficient. 👍 BTW..... if I weren't so darned cheap, I'd buy the Pro version for $3.10. 🤗

Definitely Handy!! I had the wrong sized tires on my MINI and didn't realize I was always about 5 off (under) no big deal of course but that of course differs at speeds. Also try and tell tailgaters you didn't know that lol. This (as well the new [correct size] tires) certainly helped to know what speed to do. Very user friendly and crazy simple to operate.

Used it for 5 minutes to check bike speedometer. Three hours later the phone battery was dead. Later discovered that in addition to GPS set to highest accuracy, the DO NOT Disturb had been turned on. I'm still trying to figure out how other google system items were changed, the extent of which is epic. Noticed the very aggressive response to any comment.

I use this in my car for a speedometer because the one in my dash doesn't work. It's very annoying to use this app in the dark driving down the road then all of a sudden a bright full screen ad pops up blinding you and you can't see how fast your going. Without the ads it was great but now with the ads they blind you in the dark and you have to try and click the close button on them to return to the app. Very dangerous and annoying!

Detailed, accurate, and customizable. No "extras" to "unlock", no annoying ads, just a really great app that gives me a better, easier to view display than my motorcycle's stock gas tank mounted array does, and I was able to color match it to my bike for an awesome streamlined aesthetic. Integrated GPS functionality is a big plus, too. I'd ike a different icon, though since a professional opening their phone to a neon blue "69" right in the middle of their homescreen isn't good optics.

Works great on the water with kayak to track speed, time, distance. Update: used it again on the water kayaking, still works great, I sat still for 30 minutes enjoying the breeze, sun, solitude, and the app kept on recording time, distance, speed. It does what I need while tracking my trips on the water.

Great app that works great for me so far! My truck speedometer was disconnected when I bought the truck, so this app works GREAT to keep me aware of how fast I'm going instead of me just having to guess. I can turn my phone on its side and set it above my steering wheel (in the dash instrument area) and it tells me my current speed, my max speed, and how far I've gone. AND my phone stays lit up so I don't have to keep reaching down to turn it back on! I love it! This is a great app! A+!

App works great. Lots of features. I have to agree with everyone else about the intrusive ad on this version. On a motorcycle, sitting at a stop light with gloves on and ad comes up. Doesn't go away until you click the X. I understand there is a paid version, but have the ad come up when you first start the app, not in a dangerous situation. Else, I'll pay to remove the ads due to the app working perfectly otherwise. Free version can be frustrating though.

Great app. I love the different display options and features; not to mention it's FREE! The only minor con is sometimes the one ad that pops up happens at the worst time when riding my motorcycle. I can't see the app until I can stop to close it out (my riding gloves prevent me from using the touchscreen). Small price to pay for the app. Suggestion: maybe have the ad pop up when the speed is zero. That would allow us to see it and get back to the app quickly and safely.

This app is extremely accurate. I tested it while driving in my car, comparing to my car's speedometer, and it was always exactly right. A critique: the "large" and "larger" portrait views look identical in size. Not a big deal, but just mentioning it. I like that, whether in portrait or landscape view, you can lock the screen rotation.
