Reviews for Grammar Check by AI Writing

This app is for scammers. Not helpful at all in windows, has no refund, has no trial period. Dare at your own. They try to hijack users searching for Grammarly.

not what I wanted. I didn't want an app that was a thesaurus. I just wanted to know if my syntax was right and have suggestions on that. also lots of ads

Mediocre. I would not pay for this, to watch just ads yeah it's worth it then, but the job it does is not worth the money. There are better free options out there.

The old version was good. I could check grammar and form a sentence. But in the new version, the entire layout has been changed. It is not so convenient.

I haven't had problems while using the app. I just wish they could paraphrase more than 1000 words but it's still an awesome app.

So many ads in this app, if you want to correct your spelling mistakes, then try the Grammarly app once, you will love it.

Grammarly App is one among the best. the challenge is the amount to enable one use it in everyday writing. I think a lot of people are discouraged because of the premium annual fee.

I find myself in a frustrating situation. I was looking for Grammarly when I mistakenly purchased a product with a similar name and logo. However, I accepted as no return policy. But when I started using my banking app, it wasn't working and asked me to disable the grammar check feature. It seems they don’t fully comply with their security policies. When I contacted support, they suggested that I change my keyboard each time I use the banking app, which is ridiculous. Need refund or solution.

I love this app, but I dislike the use of "CIS" to describe biological women; most of us don't find it necessary. I never use it in paperwork or reports, so I prefer not to have it included in my writing. When we say "women," we mean biological women, and the same goes for "men." ***Here's an update on September 1st, 2025. I absolutely appreciate that I can take something that I text or I wrote copy it onto here and then ask it to shorten it or to make it casual formal whatever it helps do it.

so I just installed this app for the first time into my Android phone and the first page that I was met with when I opened the app surprisingly has a grammatical error it's pretty obvious too. It was an error on your AI's correction. It shows an example of your AI correcting a sentence where the AI corrections forgets to replace the subject matter that it included in it's deleted part of the correction leaving the corrected sentence making no sense. This threw me for an app that charges4that.

The application is decent, but my review focuses solely on the price-to-value ratio in today's AI landscape. This app is purely for grammar checking, nothing more. There are numerous AI tools available now that offer far more features than just grammar correction, and yet your membership fees are excessively high. You were reasonable three years ago when there were no alternatives, but that's no longer the case. Your pricing is simply too steep for the Indian market.

This is a FANTASTIC very useful app. It really is great, though not quite perfect yet. One thing that needs to be fixed is that when the "review suggestions" bubble appears, there should be an "X" that we can press to close it, because it pops up in the middle of writing and gets in the way. The thing is, I'm still in the middle of composing and not ready to REVIEW SUGGESTIONS yet, so the buble blocks the view of what your trying to write which is annoying.

I appreciate the usability, but I wish this was integrated into the normal keyboard. I miss the capability I need, like swiping or using the mic that I don't get with this keyboard. Limited uses for the amount of money that's charged are unfair, imho. There's a lot of potential but km not sure it's for the 40-50 dollar charge for access...

Unfortunately it just doesnt work. I Actually, realized now that although it didnt make this clear, it isnt free at all. "Free to download' is so misleading. Almost everything is free to download! It only lets you check the grammar 3 times. The keyboard doesnt mark whats wrong as you type and you have to peck because it doesnt allow slide or flow tying. Was a waste of my available space and time

The most frustrating experience ever. I have an account with Grammarly. I downloaded the app, and there is no place to log in. I can only subscribe. I then pasted over 1000 characters with the trial version, and now I am stuck with a pop-up that asks me to subscribe. I can't delete any of the characters or back track. I will have to uninstall it to get over the pop-up. This app is a joke.

For months, I tried to cancel for a refund. The app is not what I expected. It hasn't worked since the day I purchased it. They kept stalling with messages back and forth, asking me to present various information and screenshots, which I did, until time for refund had expired. I was scammed for $49.99. I finally purchased Grammarly premium. It works great. I will never purchase anything else from Google. I wouldn't advise anyone to purchase Google grammar check they do not back their products.

I have a Grammarly account but it's not clear how to log in on the app. Maybe Grammarly is making it hard to find in the hopes people will pay twice. The paid account gets you up to 5 devices. I clicked customer service during the middle of the day CST and they're not available send an email. Bad customer service and bad design for a customer that's already paid. Look at the response to my review it's obviously AI and makes no sense. Changing my rating to 1. If you pay for Grammarly is useless.

There are some major drawbacks, but overall this is the best app I've found for editing my writing. #1, the 1k CHARACTER limit is insane for a paid app. I did a 3.5k short story and it took like dozens of segments. Sometimes it gets stuck on a sentence and doesn't check anything after that so I have to restart taking that sentence out. That being said, the actually grammar checking is as good or even a bit better than grammarly which cost 3x as much.

Does not inspire confidence! Upon downloading and launching for the first time, this grammar-checking app had a grammatical error on the very first intro page! I downloaded this app because I'm doing some legal work on my own, and want to make sure I don't make any grammatical errors. I rarely rate apps, good or bad, but I needed to caution other potential users.

As someone studying how to write, I love how creative they can rephrase a simple text into something way better and it helps me a lot. However, I don't like the fact that I'm literally limited to only 3 free tries until I'm given the choice to watch an ad for two more tries or basically pay $50 to use the entire app without limitations. This app has a lot of potential and it's easy to use, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else if it means they have to pay a lot of money.
