Perfect for highschool and college students. The format is easy to navigate and grearly reflects the Ti-84.
Reviews for Graphing calculator plus 84 83
← Back to Graphing calculator plus 84 83it works for what it is for. I only wish it had a way to find what the letters mean in an equation. example -3(4x-5)=-12x+10. the answer to that is no solution but I had to use Google to help
Love it has everything i need plus a lot more best calculated ive ever used acts just like the ti84 for free and has so much more than that. Wish I found sooner.
I use this for everything, binary conversions, octal conversions, hex conversions, graphing, programming, etc. This is an extremely versatile calculator, and it even has unit conversion capabilities and most of the math formulas right on it!
I needed a TI-84 for class and wasn't able to get my hands on one, so I downloaded this. It's functional. There are a lot of ads, which doesnt interfere too much. My one big complaint is that the interface is completely different from a real TI-84 and I can't follow the class instructions without several minutes of desperately tapping random buttons.
Absolutely amazing. While the experience of pressing phone buttons doea not give as much sensory feedback as the real ti 84 calculator, the app takes every possible step to make a fully functional replacement to the calculator. In my use of this calculator, I've never had a problem with obtrusive ads, and I've never wished that I had the physical version. Although phone buttons are more clunky then physical ones, the 100 USD difference between this app and the physical calculator makes it up.
Was devastated when they took Wabitemu off the marketplace. This is far superior to any TI calculator. With a few minutes you'll see the difference. There's even a few YouTube tutorials on the really in depth items. Highly recommend, went ahead and bought the paid version after only a few minutes.
AWESOME! Slightly, different function buttons than a TI-84 but 100% less costly. This app is fantastic if you need the calculator functions without the $150 price tag. Haven't encountered a calculation that it isn't programed to do, just gotta find the buttons for it (and that isn't hard). Ads don't get in the way or distract while using.
I'm not sure if I fully qualify, as i'm not a mathmatician. It works pretty well, and is in developement. It is free, but will have Ads? I have a physical calc at home too. TI 84 something. Mostly good things, like conversions, big numbers, hopefully it goes well! Oh, I can't forget Premium is $2.99 for life from what I gathered. Seems reasonable :)
This app is amazing. I tutor math students, many who have access to a graphing calculator in class, but not at home. The features on this calculator are unbelievable. I've used it for hours with one crash. Can be a little slow on complex definite integrals...and sometimes doesn't return a solution...even when one exists. But I'd give 6 stars if I could.
This app is saving my GPA right now. Highly recommend. It's very easy to use. I would not hesitate to purchase the full app if my course requires more functions than just the basic functions offered in this app for free. The upside to having the app rather than the calculator is that you can take screenshots of calculations!!!!! This is fantastic for when you have to show your work.
Genuinely a life saver for my college math course, it's free, has non-intrusive ads and in-app purchases, and has incredibly good quality of life features that analog calculators and other apps just don't have. It does everything the real deal does, with better processing power depending on your type of phone. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.
One critique/suggestion - give the option to input expressions purely in-line with parentheses etc as with the physical ti83. It is much faster for users who have no issue with order of operations. For instance, I graphed a complicated function, then wanted to graph the absolute value. For that I had to actually cut and paste it into the abs environment, instead of inserting abs( at the beginning and closing the parentheses at the end.
Almost identical to a graphing calculator, only 2 problems. When putting an equation into the y= menu and then pressing 2nd Graph, the amount of rows in the table is very limited. What I mean by this is when u scroll with a regular graphing calculator, it goes on almost forever. But this one only shows about 12 rows before cutting off. Kinda annoying. Also, some of the ads are sketchy/inappropriate. High School students use this app for crying out loud.
I don't recommend buying the full version. This is a calculator. However, if you were expecting it to feel like your handheld ti84, it lacks many nuances like copying your most recent result, you'll only be able to copy the equation. It has no idea that the 10^2 button doesn't mean add 1 and 0 to the end of a number and raise the whole thing to the power of 2 without specifically telling it. It can do what the 84 can, but doesn't feel like one.
The best calculator app!!! It is extremely similar to the TI-84 and it does everything! It can graph, it has options for logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric functions. It can convert back and forth between decimal and fraction. It also has many statistics options etc. Some extra features are color themes and fonts! I use the neon blue setting. I absolutely love this app and it was definitely worth it to buy the upgrade. 💙
This app is OK, if you couldn't find anything better. An attempt was made to emulate the TI-84 by back engineering the software and using phone graphics to display everything. The result is something not close enough to the 84 to be easy to use, but has many of the features. You have to pay for many "advanced" features that are standard on the 84. Since you have to pay anyway, if you have legal rights to the TI-84, just pay for AlmostTi and get an EXACT copy of the TI-84+. It works flawlessly.
I love this calculator. I wrote a couple little functions that I use constantly to calculate progress for one of my hobbies. Having an infinite history is great to be able to look at values that I have entered months ago. I do use other tools like spreadsheets, but this is really nice for quick entry when I don't want to open a Google sheet.
I never used this type of calculator in any form. Until now that I need it for a college course. So, getting to know the features is a bit confusing. But the great thing is that. Every feature that the expensive (over priced) versions offers. So does this free version. It is amazing and helpful. Thank you for this great calculator!
Edit: Even after paying for the premium model, they have taken away the ability to change the calculator model! I do not recommend. One critique: There isn't a DEL button to clear the lists. Also, it's a bit unclear on how to switch from the 84 model and the 83 model. Outside of that, it's a great app!
