This app is so helpful. It includes articles, daily affirmations based on your lifestyle factors and situations you may need for references. Keep in mind that not everyone is dealing with the same situations as you do. You can write in your Gratitude journal, to remind yourself that things are going to get better for you, and share them with others, if you want. Great app to have on your device! ✨️💗💯
Reviews for Gratitude: Self-Care Journal
← Back to Gratitude: Self-Care JournalBest journaling app—none can compete. You can set up your own password for privacy, they have prompts for you incase you can't think of one, or if you want to write an entry without a pre-made prompt that's fine too. Self-care widgets and affirmations. And this is the free version. Helped me focus on the bright side of things. Really happy to have this. ❤️👍
I love the daily inspirational quotes and colorful journal entries. This app is simple, to the point, and very easy to use without any extra clutter. And it's completely ad-free, which you don't find anymore these days. I've used this for a week and I'm actually excited each day to make my entries. I've noticed a positive change in my mindset and mood thanks to this gratitude journal!
Editing my review to downgrade to 3 stars. They removed some features from the free version. The affirmations are super limited now, whereas before there were more categories to choose from. Now all are locked, except for one. Feels like they got greedy and are trying to force you to pay for the subscription. The app doesn't have the same valye anymore, and I found myself opening it only to be disappointed with the available content. I ended up uninstalling it.
I've only been using this for about a week. So far I really like it. I'm doing allot of self help in this season of life. I love the prompts more than anything, without them I'm overwhelmed and cant write. This app has been truly convenient for me! and I find myself writing a little something a few times a day. Which is huge progress for me. Being able to add a picture to my entries is also very helpful for my counselor. I wish though, my entries would include the prompt in the actual entry!!
I've only been using this app for a few days, but in this short time I have grown to LOVE it! A few years ago, I had a journalling app, but it was NOTHING like this. I love that you get journalling prompts, have the option to add photos/customize each entry in a unique way, and are offered other perks like a quote of the day. I'm looking forward to continued personal growth with this app. Thank you!
Writing in a journal can take sooo long. But with this app I just speak the words into my phone and voila, I've " written" in my journal! I love that I can attach photos to each entry, that it's focused on gratitude, and that it's backed up and printable so I'll never lose my journal. I love the affirmations and other features as well. Thank you, Gratitude! 😉🥰
This is the best app ever! I had heard great things about gratitude journalling but wasn't sure if it would be sustainable or not (life gets busy and suddenly you drop your new goals). Well, this app has made gratitude journalling incredibly easy and addictive. There is no sign up or registration - you simply open the app and start writing. You can write as little or as much as you want and set daily reminders. Thanks to this journal, I feel more appreciative and less anxious.
I do like the app. It has definitely kept me in gratitude, and the journal entries are great. My only concern and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that there aren't many options if you are using the free version. You can only make one vision board, only one affirmation mantra available, etc. If you want anything more, you have to pay. Only one?! I mean, come on... you could give us a little bit more for the free version.
This is a wonderful app and just what I was looking for. The only downside so far is that there is no option to lock your journal without the use of your fingerprint. It would be really nice to be able to chose how you want to lock your journal instead of it being already set in the app when you go in the settings to put in a passcode lock.
This is awesome. I love the prompts a lot. I only have a few nitpicks: we need a color wheel to have more color variation in our journals (I'm not a pastel fan too much). If the year long subscription is $30 or $2.99 a week, why can't the monthly also be $2.99 a week instead of $4.99? That kind of punishes the user who is broke and can't afford $30 up front, yet then ultimately costs $60 for a year. Not cool.
I started using the app a few days after the new year. I wanted to start making positive changes in my life & this app has helped me actually stick with that goal, instead of dropping it like other resolutions. The app is easy to use, I love my morning affirmation & evening reminders for those days I get super busy. I have recommened it to a few friends & family members, they enjoy it as well!
Been searching for a journaling app for a while now. Am an avid pen and paper journaler. Wanted a way to journal during the day instead of looking at social media. I've loaded and tried SO MANY APPS. They just didn't work for me - strange layout, forced way to set it up, no calendar view. Gave up for a while and Gratitude popped up when I downloaded another app. It's AMAZING!!!! It has the calendar view I have been looking for and it works just like a text to add pics! Easy backups too! LOVE!
its pretty good in terms of journaling n whatnot, but if yalls' focus is on wanting to help ppl mentally, why are you charging these folks for money. i get needing to keep the app going, but to put most things locked behind a pay wall is abysmal in my opinion. i downloaded this app, like many others, for the features id appreciate more than just a physical journal. i do not need to waste my hard-earned money on a pointless subscription to a journaling app. its no different than the rest tbh
I love this app, it has simple widgets that help me stay on track. I love the journaling challenges too, there's easy ones hard ones and everything in between. it's customizable enough that it stays pretty but not so customizable that it's complicated and tricky to use. it functions well as a simple journal, but if you'd like, you have the option to log lots of other things like feelings, weather and pictures. the pro version is worth it imo but the free version is great if you can't afford it
This is a really wonderful gratitude journalling app with so many great features (daily prompts, inspiration, vision board creation, tips/info from positive psychology) and no advertisements!!! totally ad free. There is a paid version with premium features, but the free version is amazing and totally without ads. That's nearly unheard of these days. Thank you to the creators.
I love this app. It helps me express more gratitude every single day and celebrates small milestones. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because amazing options like, having more than 1 vision board or adding multiple photos to a entry you have to pay money. I think if those 2 options were free it would be a 5 star app! But overall I really do enjoy it.
I like this app. I know most of its entries and prompts are about being thankful for things but I use it as an overall journal. I do like the prompts. They help redirect my emotions and thoughts. I wish that they could incorporate that though. Give you a space to assess and write down how you're feeling, why you're feeling that way and then move on to a prompt to help lift your spirits or at least distract you thinking. Maybe it already has this and I just haven't found it in the app yet.
In 2023, 272 MB of my journal entries backed up in Google Drive failed to load on the app. The data has been stuck in the hidden app folder on Google Drive since (confirmed by technician). Only the developer has the access key to hidden app folder. I've been trying to contact the developer to retrieve this for 2 years now, and they've been unresponsive. The one time I managed to get a call with them after 2 months of unanswered emails, they never followed up. I just want my journal entries!
I love/hate, I pay for it. But I hate that i can't organize/reorder my affirmations. That whole affirmations tab is extremely cluttered and disorganized. I have like 20 folders of my own all mixed up, and then there's about 5 dozen system folders that are there by default causing more clutter. I don't use the app as much as i should bc I dread looking at it. And please please please let us add the same photo to all affirmations in the folder instead of inserting one by one.
