Description
Been using GRE Vocab Cartoons Flashcards for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you memorize GRE vocabulary words using silly cartoons and mnemonics. Pretty solid app if you’re studying for the GRE.
Here’s what you do: You go through flashcards of over 1300 GRE words, each with a cartoon illustration, a clear definition, and a memorable mnemonic. And there’s also a section for 160 word roots which is pretty cool. And the app tracks your progress so you can see which words you’ve mastered.
Look, if you’re trying to crush the GRE vocab section, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on GRE Vocab Cartoons Flashcards. I've tested a bunch of vocab apps and this one's actually pretty good. The cartoons and mnemonics make memorizing words way more fun and effective than just staring at flashcards. Definitely helps the info stick in your brain. On the downside, the app can get repetitive after a while and the free version has some annoying ads. But overall, it's one of the better GRE prep apps I've used.

I like that it also has root words. The selection of words are the essential GRE ones. The pictures are humorous and colorful. A little humor to help reduce studying...
Mnemonics seems good. Wordlist is good too. Covers root words as well. User experience can be improved. Not that intuitive. Overall a better resource.
The app is good. It makes your pronunciation easier BUT the meanings and examples to describe that vocab is not fine (for me )(India). I am using that word and...
