All the hard words I encountered on the GRE were present in the app. Root words are especially useful. Mnemonic devices and cartoons really stick with you and makes it 10x easier to remember.
Mnemonics seems good. Wordlist is good too. Covers root words as well. User experience can be improved. Not that intuitive. Overall a better resource.
The app is good. It makes your pronunciation easier BUT the meanings and examples to describe that vocab is not fine (for me )(India). I am using that word and searching meaning and examples on Google because that was easy.
I like that it also has root words. The selection of words are the essential GRE ones. The pictures are humorous and colorful. A little humor to help reduce studying stress is certainly nice.
I'll not recommend this app. As it is paid and they don't have similar, easy synonyms under the flash cards. Which is very necessary. I'll suggest to download WordBot app from playstore which is free. They have test option also. Due to which you will remember GRE words easily. By giving test again and again. Wordbot provide proper synonyms, definition, sentences. All this things are not there in this GRE Vocab cartoons flashcard app.
Just got the app, but it's genuinely hard to swipe to the next card. I have to swipe over 5+ time for the motion to cue. Not a big deal but considering the whole app is a flash card app, this is kind of weird.
The way app is implemented is just amazing. It has a good amount of GRE words and the example sentences and memonics make them really easy to learn and remember. It also has the spaced repetition thing for flashcards. It is just perfect. Loving it.
Overall it's good but is there a way to keep words in different groups that I can do each day and then come back and revise them because everytime I come back everything changes and it's hard to revise the words that I have done..
Have been using this app for the last few days to study the GRE vocabs. I've always struggled with understanding some of the words, but the sample sentences & drawings in this app really helped a lot! Thank you for creating them!
This is the Best GRE Vocab application which is out there. I have wasted months trying various resources to develop my vocabulary for the GRE, this is the only app that you need. Personal suggestion, don't get into the unpaid vocabulary apps available out there.
