I've been charged a month fee for a free trial and still didn't even got to use it in full. Not for the trail period or the month I paid for. Would be a great app but there is definitely something not right here and if you don't want to throw your money out the windows don't do it

← Back to Gronda - For Chefs4 stars because it is not friendly to the poor cook/chef. By all means, it shows techniques and procedures of how to create high end cuisine. And you learn. The bad part is that many dishes you will create, shall not be up the levels of these courses. Why? Because unless you are a multi-millionaire cook/chef yourself, you will never be able to afford many of the exotic machines used by these so called; "masters" of culinary art. A kitchen centrifuge!; really!!! A sonic bath! Right!!
I can not log in on the app, I tried many times, I uninstalled and install; back and forth and still not working, and another thing I don't understand is why is not possible to keep this app separately from Facebook, I tried to register with a new email and is not allowing me in any way. I really like the app and Im willing to pay anually but is not possible with this failure, please do something and before this happened I had issues to watch the videos, is taking a long time to run them
It's nice to have these recipies but when I've posted something half the time it doesn't post and the other half I'll try to go back and edit and the edits never stick. I re-edit the same one over and over again and it never publishes the updates. Needs lots of improvment when it comes to posting
The pull in was the rolled beetroot recipe ad doesn't seem to be on there. Some of the recipes are vegan friendly, but are only desserts, none of the mains are vegan and/or just don't meet my dietary requirements so I can't say I'll keep my subscription. The app itself seems very rushed and seems too expensive for what it is. Disappointed really because the idea is great and would be a perfect app for professional or hobbyist chefs, it's just executed poorly and feels like it's a money snatcher.
Such a shame as I love the app and the content, but The fact that you can't skip to different parts of the video or fast forward (outside of the masterclasses) without resetting makes it unusable. hope to return in future as will pay the subscription in a heartbeat if the video player improves!
Update: IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT INSTALL THIS TRAP! You need all kinds of equipment, gadgets, tools in order to even attempt to replicate the recipes. The videos are short and fast. They don't walk you through a complicated recipe. They don't teach. I learned nothing. Pure dissapointment. And very hard to cancel!!

Hard to understand how to cook dishes. Sure there's readable instructions but they provide a video. But the video is heavily flawed in a way there's no description on the process of cooking the dish. All they show is a quick video with a music overlay. Its a good concept for a cooking app but its poorly done. I would recommend the devs to take a look at fit men cook and look at that layout and how that guy who runs that does videos. If yall did what he did, yall would have a better app.
Content of the app is great, both the regular recipes as well as the interaction with the community and the masterclasses. Learned already many techniques and recipes. However the app itself is often buggy, it took me more than 10 attempts to subscribe as the app would always crash (I tried different methods). Also regularly the recipes don't load or videos take forever to start. Since the latest update last night can only see a black screen when opening and no longer access any content.
Seems like a scam or rolled out too early. The prominent recipes are complete but if you explore more the recipes are incomplete, missing, or very hastily written. The "comments" also seem like bots or fake. Also finding to almost impossible to cancel my subscription, it says I need to do it in the store with no options in the actual app.
I'd give this app 4/5 stars overall. It's a pretty amazing app but I feel that there's still room for improvement in different areas. However, the Gronda app has a huge problem, at least in my country. I've paid my subscription in order to be able to see some masterclasses, but there's something very annoying: all the videos freeze for a couple of seconds and then continue playing, several times per video. Also, you are not able to watch them on a laptop. Good masterclasses but not worth paying.
I'm paying premium membership and it has been more than 1 month without full access to the recipes and videos, is showing me advertising to start my 7 days trial when my membership doesn't expire yet, I'm paying for nothing, I sent a message through the app and I haven't received any answer. I need a solution for this, because you took the money and I have no access!!!
This subscription was purchased entirely by mistake. I immediately realized the error and have already cancelled the subscription through my Google Play account to prevent further charges. I have not used the Pro features since the charge was processed. Since the purchase was unintentional and cancelled right away, I kindly request that you process a full refund of the amount to my original payment method. search function does not work. I search a simple word like "halibut" and have been stuck on an unending loading screen. The app lacks recipes, and content as well. unless you're working in Michelin kitchens, most of these techniques are fine dining. I'm a chef, but that is not the way that I like to cook. I'm disappointed there aren't more realistic recipes and techniques for restaurants that aren't ultra high end. I wanted the app for inspiration, and have found none.
The app won't let me watch the masterclass on pc, only on mobile, iven I am a premium subscriber is very odd I won't be renewing
Can't even sign up/register in the app. It keeps telling me in German language that my email doesn't exist with them. I tried signing up using Google but it can only use my nonprofessional email, and when I tried to register my phone number, i only received a verification code once and it says invalid code. When I asked to send code again, it doesn't do anything, and I can't even type anything cos the app isn't letting the keyboard pop-up. The app's such a mess.
Easy ànd convenient app for finding recipes
I think there is an error using s24 ultra. suddenly it stops working. but there is no an error the app stops receiving touches and I cannot continue select any option or access to any menu
Overall great app to get ideas and recipes from other chefs. After paying the subscription though anytime I open the app I have to restore the subscription before being able to view stuff. Not sure why it isn't just saving that data. Thankfully it hasn't been recharging me everytime but is still an inconvenience when trying to quickly look at something. Edit: The Gronda team reached out to me quickly and resolved the issue. Very happy to move to 5 stars for the quick and efficient fix.
