One of the three worst tuner apps ever made for Android! Really, I've tried them all, and this is in the bottom three! First, it *smothers* you in ads. It has a terrible interface. It has way too much jitter. Finally, it "chirps" when you reach pitch. Given the jitter, that means it is chirping incessantly at you, while you're trying to either watch the tuner or listen to your instrument. Horrible. Stay away.
Reviews for Guitar Tuner Pro: Music Tuning
← Back to Guitar Tuner Pro: Music TuningFlagged as malware/fleeceware by multiple anti-virus/anti-spyware apps. Judging by other reviews by their victims, I recommend everyone steer clear and don't make any purchases in this app.
Instead of the free trial I agreed to, I was charged for a full year immediately. The tuner isn't even that good. Very dissapointed.
Really great. It allows you to do pretty much everything for free and anything else you just have to watch ads for.
Amazing app, but drop g is like an entire octave higher and made me snap my highest string. Also, please add a 7 string version.
It's a great tuner, but I don't understand the point of having ads for a guitar tuner. It's like it only takes a solid minute to tune, and I don't want to watch a 30-second ad just to tune my guitar. It's wasting my time.
This is one of the worst kind of apps! I would rate zero if it were possible. I just wanted to quickly use the guitar tuner not all the other useless bs on the app, yet I still had to sign up for a free trial, and then to be charged a rediculous fee of $11.95+ per month FOR A GUITAR TUNER. And now I cannot even cancel the membership and I cannot afford to pay $12 a month for a guitar tuner! **EDIT** I just noticed it's actually $11.95+ a week!!! Like what is wrong with these sick developers?
only "free" for 3 days and then forces a subscription that is difficult to get out of. Edit: I see your response. To clarify my stance, there is no reason for a subscription fee on this app. I'm better off finding an app that isn't a scam or buying a proper tuner. This app should only have a one time fee of $5-10 at most.
It sucks it made me break one of my guitar strings because it keep saying that it was two low.
Didnt send my reminder of the free subscription 2 of 3 days b4 getting billed. Has fake Support (dropdown Support button gives fake response "link"), and to even get support E-mail, u have to search 4 it in-app bc it doesn't appear thru Google for some rzn;no outside info regarding their TOS/how to reach support-u have to go thru many sources/do a lot of research to even find how to request a refund, just to have it rejected by bots bc they use bots only for their support&theres no way around it
tuning is decent and I get it right but it kept saying my B was lower cords. I kept trying to get it higher so it would say it was playing a B but it got so tightened it snapped before it even got there:( was nice for learning tho
was my favourite go to tuner / metronome but recently updated app with less functionality and tiered pricing. u installing unfortunately. good work, and very good app. worth the money? not really in my opinion. shame.
minimal use of left hand so far, I'm happy with the patience of this app!... however you. Google play!!! interrupting,,, during use other hand , asking people to judge so soon.. review team consider allowing time for people to comprehend. 😊 ty
Fairly straight forward how to use it, quickly had my guitar tuned, less than 3 mins if you've done this before. Might take a novice a sec to figure it out but all in all a great app that I believe anyone at any stage in their guitar skills and playing can use.
This app isn't even worth rating 0 stars. If there was a way to take away stars, I would do so much that this app would have to be removed from the play store. Tuning isn't accurate, riddled with adds unless you pay a monthly fee that is shoved in your face everything you open the app, and to top it all off, IT DOESNT EVEN DO A GOOD JOB AT TUNING!!!!! I would be tuning my guitar, specifically at the fourth string, and it would constantly show me other strings. Just buy a regular tuner...
Says it only has in app purchases no ads was immediately hit with an ad. Edit: your response did not even address the issue. When submitting the app, you told Google that it does NOT contain ads, but the first screen has an ad up top for another company (not your own upgrade product). I was also hit with a full-screen ad within seconds of exploring the app. You lied about the product, so I have no reason to trust you.
I've had this app for over a year when it was 3.99 a month, still paying 3.99 per month as of 3 days ago when the last payment was taken out, and when I go on the app I don't have premium, now it's 7.99 a week are you out of your mind!?!? I payed for 3.99 a month just so if my tuner died, lost it or forgot it I'd use the app. Honestly would only use the app after a certain point for the convenience. I've been paying, still paying and have no premium!
Downloaded the app a year ago. Bought the subscription, and was looking forward to the "new games coming soon...," as a fun way to learn. After a full year (not 9 months or less) but a FULL YEAR, the only thing I hear are crickets. When you release an update WITH games as has been promised, I may renew my subscription.
Do not download if you are prone to forgetting to cancel free trials. I signed up and forgot to cancel and instead of a monthly charge which would be no big deal, they make sure to charge you for an entire year to prey on anyone who forgets since Google won't overturn a charge even if it's second after the payment processes. I've had this for 3 months now and have used it once, during the free trial. The apps okay but manipulating googles rules to charge a year with no escape makes it sketchy.
My biggest concern with this app is there is no clear way to unsubscribe from the app I've done the trial period and was not really interested in what this app has to offer, I don't find it logical to pay $7.99 +Tax a week for an app that provides the same functionality of a $40 rechargeable tuner that I don't have to pay every week for and lessons so basic that YouTube has hundreds of videos on for free. Combine that with absolutely no way to unsubscribe even though the play store is a big no.
