So here's my honest take on Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps. I've tested a bunch of navigation apps and this one's pretty solid for truck drivers. The truck-specific routing and offline maps are big pluses in my book. It's not as polished as some other options, but it gets the core features right. If you spend a lot of time on the road in a commercial vehicle, I'd say it's worth giving Hammer a shot.

Description

Been using Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps for a couple months now. It’s basically a navigation app built specifically for commercial truck drivers. Pretty solid if you’re on the road a lot.

Here’s what you can do – it’s got truck-specific GPS with turn-by-turn directions that take into account your vehicle’s size and weight. There’s also offline map access, so you don’t need data to use it. And the real-time rerouting is super helpful when there’s traffic or accidents up ahead.

Look, if you drive a big rig for a living, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a GPS made for trucks.
