So here's my take on HAMRS Pro. I've tested a bunch of amateur radio apps and this one's pretty solid. The core logging functionality works really well, and the extra features like the QRZ integration and ADI export are super useful. Definitely a step up from just using a spreadsheet or notebook.

The UI could use some work though - it's not the most intuitive thing to navigate. And I found the app would crash on me occasionally when I was tabbing through contacts too quickly. But those are relatively minor issues. Overall, HAMRS Pro is a great option if you're looking for a dedicated logging app for your ham radio activities.

Description

Been using HAMRS Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a simple amateur radio logging app, with templates for things like Parks on the Air and Field Day. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda stuff.

Here’s what you do – you can tab through fields to log your contacts, and it’ll show you the operator’s location if you’ve got an internet connection. There’s also an option to export your log as an ADI file, which is handy. And you can even upload directly to QRZ from within the app – saves a bunch of time.

Look, if you’re an amateur radio operator, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of HAMRS Pro. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re tired of using pen and paper to log your contacts.
