I’ve been using Hands-On Equations 2 for a couple months now. It’s basically a math learning app that helps kids (and adults!) practice solving equations using visual models. Pretty solid app if you’re into educational games.
Here’s what you do: there are these pawns and cubes on a scale, and you have to figure out the values to balance the equation. It’s got different levels that get progressively harder as you learn new concepts. And there’s a neat feature where you can customize the equations – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you or your kids need some extra math practice, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
