so much trouble connecting. Still can't get it to work after many tries.

I absolutely love my freeze dryer not just any freeze dryer my Harvest Right freeze dryer. to be able to prepare food for longevity for me and my family is absolutely life-changing. thank you freeze drying gods for helping me to discover I could do anything once I receive this machine. this is the best investment I ever made.

I love my Freezedryer. so easy to use. a year later but still learning.

this small size is perfect for us. I can fill 4 trays way more easily than a larger one and I have room in the freezer to freeze them before a batch. love this addition to my food processing

The app is great but the deduction of 1 star is due to problems with WiFi connection, likely due to the WiFi adapter dongle on the machine rather than the app. Each time I turn on the machine I have had to reset the dongle and reconnect it vs it connecting easily. Where the machine sits it gets more than adequate signal.

Update Sucks! App doesn't work half the time and the layout is horrible. Can't get to the recipes at all and all my saved recipes are nowhere to be found...

I cannot say enough good things about Harvest Right their freeze dryers are Great and their help center is amazing. the help was much more then I expected

At this point, words cannot describe the satisfaction I am getting from my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. Great product, Worth the investment. 😁

I love having the option to freeze dry leftovers. I have a nice selection of ready-made dinners always ready to choose from.

I am in love with my harvest right. It is not that difficult to get started. I recommend doing your homework. Know as much as you can before getting started. I spent 7 months reading up on freeze drying. Now I am getting recipe books to make meals.

I absolutely love my Harvest Right freeze dryer—it’s been a fantastic investment. However, getting their app set up was hands down the worst part of the experience. It was anything but "plug and play." If I didn’t absolutely need the Wi-Fi adapter (my freeze dryer is in a detached garage), I probably would’ve given up. The setup process was frustrating, overly complicated, and poorly documented. Harvest Right really needs to improve this part of the user experience.

Terry are not straight up, I had spend 7000 on my Freezedry XL it keep on shutting down and come to find out it was the fuse cause they send it with a 10 amp instead of a 20 amp, so they was sending me a new machine cause no one knew about the fuse problem. week the new machine they sent out to me was a refurbished one which is not right at all, how I found out cause I was having nothing but problem with the refurbished one. so nit right

has a lot of fantastic functionality, but 1 really big flaw. the app is only functional when the device and app have internet access. local control should be enabled so even if the wireless adapter fails to connect outside of the network, local control can still be utilized to check the status, and receive alerts. in other words, internet access shouldn't be required for local access control.

Great company! I bought my freeze dryer directly from Harvest Right 3 years ago. It was a good experience, and it was great tracking information. I buy all my supplies from them because they are good quality. Look for sales and discounts on their website. They have them often. The new Bluetooth upgrade with the phone app is fantastic and was worth purchasing from them. It makes monitoring and controlling your freeze dryer from your phone, anywhere, so easy and possible. I

The description says you can connect to your freeze dryers, but there are no instructions on how to do that. I know this is a work in progress but some more information would be nice instead of baiting us with a description that says you can connect to your freeze dryers and monitor them remotely. Looking forward to an answer! Edit: better description, but it still says you get direct access. I have no idea what that means if it doesn't mean that you can connect to your freeze dryer with the ap

There are some reviews that say you cannot use this app without the wireless capability. That's not true. There's a lot of information you can get from this app including foods to freeze dry and suggested freeze dry settings. You do need to have the wireless capability if you're going to run your machine directly from the phone app, but there are still plenty of benefits from using the app alone.

This is a very buggy app. The screen contents break up. And if you enter the wrong network, there's no mechanism to change networks. I attempted to use the customer support chat and it directed me to settings where I was assured I'd find a network button. Nope. And maybe I was using an outdated app version. um. I *just* installed the app. ugh The bugs aren't ironed out, so you may want to wait before jumping on the wifi bandwagon.

I have had nothing but problems one thing after another since getting this a few weeks ago. It has now been 3 weeks of fighting with the machine, the wifi device caused the electronics to short out, and the solution was to send me a new USB Board, with a YouTube video how to take the electronics out and took me 5 hours of following step by step instructions to replace these small parts. I should not have to be the one repairing this useless brick while they are refusing to honor their warranty.

The initial account set up is frustrating and not intuitive. Note: You have to enter your email adress in the sign in part of the display, after which you click on the send me link to log in. After this, click on the link in your email, which will bring you back to the previous app display, but now you can set up an account with password. Very idiotic, why not just have a new account option? After entering all the information for the freeze dryer, the app gets stuck in a loop. Very buggy.

Everything is working great so far. I did have a problem with the app chat the first time I used it. It told me to remove the insulation on top, bottom, and inside the trays. Luckily, I only removed the top insulation and then decided to call in for help instead. They replaced the top insulation, free of charge, and provided instructions as to replacing it.
