Reviews for HCMToGo

App (and website as well) completely horrible. Now stuck in an infinite loading screen attempting to login, and the website version keeps forgetting my device requiring me to enter a verification code sooner than the 7 day requirement for verification, which was also changed recently. Go back to 30 days, and fix your damn app.

While it tells you how many days till pay date, it doesn't tell you what the expected pay is. It doesn't show hour's worked/submitted, so that you can calculate on your own. There are a bunch of pointless options. I can simply wait for a hard copy of my deposit, and have all the same perks provided here.

Terrible app, it is nothing more than an employer babysitter that frequently has issues with information and features. Not to mention, it basically harasses you until you leave a review; so here it is. Not a product that I even wanted in the first place, I was forced to download by my employer; and was forced into writing this review, in the hopes that I don't have to keep clicking "no" every single time I bring up the app... Edit: I had to reinstall the app, harassing again to review app...

The app was recently changed. In my opinion, it is more frustrating to navigate. It is always on the time sheet. I mostly care about the pay stub. You have to go through quite the process to get the information you want. I think it is frustrating to find anything you want. Notifications during Covid layoff were suppose to be shown. We were suppose to have something that showed there was a notification, which none ever showed. Finding the notification was time consuming and difficult.

The app was ok and useful until it locked up on me and hasn't been usable since. To everyone who has to use it for work do not, I repeat do NOT open the "Fun" widget! I added it to one of my tabs just to see what it was and now I can't even load the app up. I log in and as soon as it tries to load the app it crashes and I can't even attempt to delete the stupid widget. I tried to message the creators, but haven't gotten any response and I need to use this app for work starting 1/1/2022.

Although it likely has the functionality you need, it just isn't intuitive/ user friendly. Just feels like programmers made the app without using any real human being feedback. Has always felt this way. You constantly have to change your password. The security feels higher than my banks, which may be appropriate for an employer who has all your personal info to protect, but for an employee that just wants to clock in and out, there is no need to force password changes. I have other gripes

Cannot use app when on cellular data. Will only work if I connect to a WiFi connection first. Then so long as I don't close the app. It will continue to work on cellular data. It's a stupid glitch that they refuse to fix. Why even pay to use this platform if the company refuses to update the bugs 90% of people experience.

An awful piece of software. On the low chance it actually starts on the first attempt to load it, I'm lucky if it is quick enough to let me clock in on time. The website functionality on mobile is actually a better experience and I find myself more often than not frustrated and closing the app again, to use the Firefox mobile browser version which never seems to fail. On top of that until I was willing to rate the app it would ask me upon every single visit to the home screen.

App sucks. Always have a difficult time logging in. Also, I recently got a new phone and had to do the initial log in again, but it was not accepting my credentials. Restarted app with no success, restarted phone with no success, now the app won't even open. Saw someone else's comment about it not opening on cellular, so maybe that's the problem? Regardless, it shouldn't be a problem to open whether there is or isn't wifi. Frustrating to deal with each week.

big problem is the over stringent security on the employee login, for clocking in and out. The protocols are higher than any banking platforms I've used. It forces you to change pswds periodically. It won't let you reuse any.. so this makes it hard to remember them OR you have to have them saved in Google OR you have to write them down! All are bad! And even then, it will be twitchy on logins. Keeps admins busy! Resetting passwords!

This app is horribly designed compared to others (T-sheets, etc.). There is no way to stay logged in. There is no way to take a break without clocking out. There is not an easy way to add a note to a current shift (takes 4-5 steps). Truly poor. Edited: keeping it 1 star because now it keeps asking me to rate it. It will not stop asking. Would have been 2 stars because the turtles are cool.

Would give a higher rating if 1" it didn't force you to change passwords every 3 months, and 2: if it allowed you to stay signed in instead of having to sign in & out every time you need to clock in and out. Also, you have to manually go in and change your break time if it is less than an hour. Example: I take a 1/2 hour lunch, but it takes a full hour out meaning I have to stay at work longer or go in every time and get it manually changed by the supervisor. It does however have a nice layout and the countdown feature till payday is very nice.

Absolutely dislike this aplp. There are too many limitations, such as scheduled work hours. It seems you are always getting approval from a supervisor for one thing or another. Several times, I was not able to log in due to no internet. If you forget to clock out, you can not just put your time in. In the meantime, we are still doing paper time sheets to keep track of our equipment hours. We are also not getting hard copies of our checks anymore. E statements are difficult to read and compare.

Our company just started using this App on September 1, 2021 and from about 9/7 to 9/17, every single time I logged into it, the app has badgered me to 'rate it'. I found that extremely annoying and distracting from the task of clocking in and out. I'm hoping that by rating the app now, that message will stop showing up? I also find the fact that a user cannot change their password without their administration's permission a downfall of their system, both on the app and on their web platform.

Glitches nearly every time I have to open it. Insisting that my password is wrong, even though it's not. Won't let you clock IN or OUT at random. Claiming you can't clock 'in/ out' within 3 minutes of previous clock. Even though you're trying to do the opposite clock punch. If my employer didn't require us to use this app I'd delete it and tell anyone who'd listen that it's awful.

This app takes something simple, recording work hours, and makes it difficult, time consuming, and unreliable. It takes anywhere from two to five minutes just to open the app. When clocking in or out, it doesn't always give the confirmation message, not does it always record the clock in or out. It cannot handle shifts that go past midnight. This app has lost over 20 hours of my time in the past two pay periods because of these issues. It's garbage.

This app needs 1 very important thing, a notification that you are clocked in! I work late nights and when my shift is over all I want to do is go home and sleep. At least once a week I forget to clock out. Their is no warning, no notification, nothing. Then when pay day comes it's all my fault no one can get paid until I submit a change request. Our company used to use a spreadsheet you filled out and it was great. Until something like that gets added I will leave my 2 star review.

Constantly updating the app in ways that make things more difficult (like soon requiring you to make a new password every 3 months), login isn't easy as it is but every now and then the app will completely log you out so that you need two separate sets of of passwords and three login IDs; one for yourself, and two different ones to identify your company. Alone those two are minor grievances easily remedied by keeping written record of the data...but by now I'd just prefer an old punch card.

It's ok. Don't have too many gripes, aside from constantly needing to change your password and the occasional hiccup when clocking in/out. The 1 star however is for the CONSTANT pop-up asking if you'd like to rate the app. It reappears no matter how many times you say no. At first I just told it to remind me later and then I started flat out saying no. I've been saying no for 4 months now. So finally I decided to give in and rate it. Hopefully now they'll leave me the hell alone.

Overall the app is good, it saves your username so you just have to type a password in. What I do not like is that when you are clocking in, it does not save location preferences. You have to type it in each time. It also does not give a summary of your clocked in hours, so when I am looking at how many hours I have in my 40 day work week, I have to add them up individually.
