Be CAREFUL. That initial trial is a set up for their full service. You must manually cancel or they'll bill you. That is not a trial it is buying the service. A trial should automatically collapse when trial period is over. I don't like businesses that do that. They're not clear up front about that. Show me where I'm wrong. Also, the material is very basic and generic and to get in more depth you have to purchase a other level or something. Way too complicated for me. Sorry.....

I did not like the content so I tried to cancel the free trial on the first day. The subscription does not show up in Google Play and when I click the account link in the welcome email to go to my account, it doesn't matter how many times I click "Cancel subscription" and "I'm sure," the free trial remains and says I will be charged when it's over. It seems that this is designed so that it is almost impossible, if not impossible, to cancel.

Total scam - Stay away! I wish I had read the other reviews before signing up for a free trial! After signing up, the app did not unlock any of the books, and even the daily free one won't load - I just get a loading icon that never goes away. I also don't see any way to unsubcribe or cancel! What a hassle. I signed up for a free trial through an online ad that showed a yearly cost under $50 with weekly payments around $1 after the first free week. Now the app shows annual pricing at over $80!!

Nothing's wrong with the app. The interface is clean, the recommendations are decent and you can listen or read books. But everything is behind the paywall, except you get 1 free book a day (you cannot close this book, it is automatically chosen for you). Their is a 7 day free trial and after that it's $87.88/year. If you wanted an app with free, short, books. Sorry folks. 😐

Okay... This thing keeps asking me to leave a review , so here. This is about a year now using this app. Paid full price. The particular female voice used on half of these readings is not a very pleasant sound. We should definitely have a couple narrator options for each reading. Regardless of how much time spend reading on this, I keep getting the the same reminder of " Just 15 min more and you will reach your daily goal." Also limited to 500 characters on this review.

I purchased an annual subscription but accidentally clicked on an add-on and was charged for an additional monthly subscription. After receiving the confirmation email I realized the error and tried to cancel / get a refund immediately. I was able to cancel but they still charged me and were refusing to refund. Update: after emailing I was able to get the refund. Their customer service response was prompt. The issue resolved in 24h. I will still try using it. Hopefully the effort is worth it!

The AI voices don't always get it right. There's a decent variety of books on a variety of topics. Starts to get pretty repetitive after a while especially because some of the most interesting points are whittled down to a few sentences and feel pretty reductive. Probably the most egregious thing about it though is that they're still charging me despite canceling my subscription through the Play Store. Harder to cancel payments for than a gym membership.

The app functions well for what it tries to do. No bugs, smooth operation. But all of the summaries read like they were written by AI or a high schooler. The voice is odd and the sentences within a paragraph rarely flow together smoothly. It's often so bad that it detracts from the process of injesting the material. I cannot recommend paying for high school level book reports.

I sadly have to rate it 1 star for a glitch and the very poor support Google Store provided. The selections and the idea behind the micro-learning is good - useful app on that regard. However, it twice prompted of discounted yearly prices during the trial. I tried obliging but it errored out everytime. I let it be knowing my trial would end by the week. Auto renewal was not mentioned. However, that's exactly what happened. Now, no refund from either the app or Google, despite my evidence 👎

I really like this app. The content is clear and helpful. The price for a yearly subscription is extremely reasonable. Unfortunately, I can only give Headway 3 stars, which may be a bit generous. I can only access the app 15% of the time when I actually want to listen to a reading, which is very frustrating. I've uninstalled the app, then reinstalled several times without success. When I open the app, there's an option to select a random book, but won't give me access to any content, please fix!
