I have been trying to use this app for almost a week. I've continually gotten dropped entries. Worst was today. After carefully recording every thing I've eaten, I go to record my lunch and all my entries for the last 24 hours have disappeared. Additionally I got dropped entries when I was trying to learn the app. Whenever I changed anything about my plan details it would wipe out all my entries. I would actually pay for this app but if it isn't keeping track, I might as well write it on paper.
Reviews for Healthi: Weight Loss, Diet App
I haven't gotten into the actual dieting of the program. My review is strictly for the app. I was hoping for more customizable meal plans. I would like to be able to easily replace a meal that I do not wish to use. Plans offered are for a short amount to time. Making my own plan is time consuming. Recipe search resets Everytime you click a recipe and go back out. Many recipes missing ingredients or are just wrong. A cookie recipe that list round steak as an ingredient?
Overall good app. Easy to use. My only complaint is it's not accurate when tracking calories. It's off tracking calories for example a bag of chips will day it's 160 but app only has it for 130 calories. I will continue to use this because it makes you more aware of how much you eat and what you're eating which motivates me to make healthier choices. So far I haven't had annoying adds or other usual app issues.
The odds of successfully adding a recipe without getting an error and losing your work are about 50/50. If that functionality matters to you, don't bother paying for this app, you will not get your money's worth. I also can't join the community because it requires a photo, and it won't let me upload one even though I have permissions turned on.
You track my weight in pounds but I have to track my food in metric? I'm older, I don't do metric, an app that doesn't offer a choice doesn't save me time and becomes a "drag" rather than a convenience. If the alternative is available, it should be easier to find. Having to point this out has taken time from me I could have spent doing something more enjoyable
I only have had this app for 4 days. Hard to get use to at first but now I'm getting it down. So close to weight watchers only much cheaper. I paid the 35.00 for the year to have more access to other stuff like the community group. Love going in and hearing others success stories. Very motivating. Once you figure the app out it is wonderful. This app will definitely help me on my weight loss journey.
Easy to use, with lots of great tools to track food, exercise, and other healthy habit details. Not giving 5 stars because the Pro version is only available once you pay for a whole year - no trial or monthly options to see how it works. Honestly, I think they're hurting themselves by not letting people see how the Pro version works.
Like the app but can't get in. I forgot my password. Despite numerous tries, I don't get an email to allow me to reset the password. I've noticed that the message says you "may" not "will" get an email to reset. I found no way to contact you. Is this because I'm not a paying customer? I've never seen a problem like this. My rating is only 3 stars because of this problem.
Ever since the most recent update, the app does not track macros (other than calories) accurately. When toggling the serving of each entry, it will track one standard serving regardless of the serving you entered. If you track more or less than one serving, it will only track the macros (other than calories) for one serving. I was told that the fix should be coming with the next update, but no ETA on when that will happen! This isn't the product I paid for.
As a former weightwatchers user, I'm very impressed by how well this app compares to the WW app, at a fraction of the price. I'm using the free version alone and have been impressed by the number of features and customizability. The quality of the scanner and calculator alone make it a great download, as these were some of the weaker points of the WW app, in my opinion. Now, if the app could connect with other fitness trackers and maybe even Go365? It would be only even better.
