Another usefulness app. The sound arrive too late to the speaker, the delay is too long, at least 1/2 sec. If I speak I listen my voice in retard and I go in confusion. You need to try this kind of app before to deploy it. The sound quality is good, but this is not enough. Altra app inutile. Il suono arriva in ritardo, troppo in ritardo, se parlo mi sento e faccio confusione non riesco più a parlare. Provate queste app. prima di metterle a disposizione, fate perdere un sacco di tempo per nulla.
Reviews for HEARING AID APP:PETRALEX 4 EAR
← Back to HEARING AID APP:PETRALEX 4 EARGreat works with my Bluetooth headset I like the different environment settings and it will cut out pitches you can already hear like the dump truck in the parking lot right now I can hear the engine rumble and it begins to transmit the back up alarm only for 1.5 seconds and fades it out with the tone filter this is my 6th app and this is the only one I've found that actually works highly recommend it
On play, I want an app not an offer to pay to buy another app! You pay but you can't even try the full featured app! However you're welcome to pay more to get the full featured app! Anything selling a subscription should be flagged on Google Playñ I think it's very self serving we'll see how the refund policy works!
Doesnt work with tinnitus (I think) It looks like they want you to purchase a subscription first before actually letting you really test it. Every single you do any thing "Hey sign up for premium you can cancel any time" I want to test it first THEN decide if I want to subscribe. They want you to subscribe then if you dont like it unsubscribe. ALMOST like those scam companies that you cant reach after they sign you up. I dont trust companies that do that so Sorry Charlie!
Purchased the subscription for noise suppression and boosted sound and it keeps telling me that I need to upgrade still yet when I go to upgrade again it tells me I have already signed up. Yet won't allow me to use the features of the thing I've paid for. It's stupid. I want my goddamn money back...
I recently discovered Petralex Hearing Aid and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The app's adaptive course helped me get used to the hearing amplifier technology quickly, and the dynamic compression feature ensures that even the quietest sounds are amplified without losing overall volume. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs help with their hearing.
Horrible! It would be really great if there were an option to use the headset mic instead of the phone mic. It's ridiculous to think that someone holding their phone is a good idea!! This would only be good for situations where you can leave a phone on a table and pickup what you need to hear. Terrible for anything else! Having to hold the phone means the biggest thing you pick up is noise from your hands touching the mic, which friends out what needs to be heard. Uninstalling and cancelling.
I Love the Petralex app. With this app, you uncancel any noise, noise that you weren't even aware of. The adaptation course is My favorite part, it's like learning the alphabet from sounds around us. Hands down, 5 stars, but 4 stars because I am waiting for the update to fix the adaptation course crash. I paid and intend on paying for a long time to come. The team is very responsive when I voiced my concerns about the adaptation course bugs. This is my second round.
I'm using Galaxy S8. Right now I only have wired headphones to try with this app. With free version, I think it performs really well considering real-time sound. It doesn't lag at all in my case. I also tried 2-3 apps but they have sound lag really bad. For bluetooth headsets, I'll update again if they work the same as wired ones after I receive my order. In my opinion, it would be great if you charge only one time instead of subscription though. For the comment about this app doesn't work, my assumption is, the mic doesn't pick up any sound at all. I had this problem too. In my case, I installed other apps as I mentioned earlier and they might authorize the mic instead of this app. I fixed this issue by uninstalling all other hearing aids apps and completely closed this app. After I open this app again, it works normally. [For now]
Have found petralex to be incredibly helpful in a time of desperation and need. Among the 20-30 hearing aid apps I've downloaded, I continue to return to this one as it's most definitely the best! Although I wish the noise suppression option would be somewhat included on the free app because after using it in the trial, without it the sounds are incredibly muffled and mixed together, very difficult to discern between for certain which noise is what. Please make the noise suppression included!
The big issue is that they want a monthly subscription. The second is the delay before it amplifies the sound. It will only use the microphone on the left headset. The offer you free for a month if you rate them 5 stats which is against Google app policies. Save your money and time and stay away from this app
A little bit easier to navigate than other apps and this one is fully legit. Wish the FAQs we're a little more clear in putting info across and I haven't found any where for support but digging the app. As my hearing loss is very significant I use to be a heavy machine gunner in the military. Ma Duce 50 Cal.
This is not a substitute for hearing aids! I was hoping that I could use these until my prescription hearing aids arrive but they just don't cut it for me. The sound is very tinny and everything sounds like it is coming from a tin can. Any movement or contact with the phone produces loud distracting sounds. There is almost no directionality possible. There is a delay to the sound so that voices are out of synch with the speakers. A subscrtion is needed for more than the most basic functions.
This is a great app to use if you need to get your normal hearing aids fixed or something of that nature. There is a time lag between what is spoken and what you hear. As a very long-term user of hearing aids. I really would use this app for a limited time or stop gap measure. I would also recommend the use of a good pair of over the ear or sound isolation headphones. I have used this app off and on for many years.
Given that they tell you about IAP, you might think the basic features are free. They are, the catch is they don't tell you even the basic features are trial for 7 days. Think that that's OK and paying would take care of this? No, ɪᴛ ᴅᴏᴇs ɴᴏᴛ! It is a subscription, and you pay them, and as long as you want to use it.
Useless - doesn't work with wired earbuds plus VERY EXPENSIVE! Tried using a pair of expensive Monster Turbine Pro IEMs. Zero output to them, just to speaker (maybe). EVERTHING is behind a pay wall. Cheapest is about £55 a year but you have to sign up to a subscription to get the 7 day free trial - NO. If you want to sell such an expensive subscription App you need to give a free trial period with no commitment. You might have a brilliant App. Unfortunately I, and most others, will never know!
It used to work quite well, and now I can't even use noise suppression, even with a subscription. Also, when I attempted to use the volume controls on my phone, it plays this loud voice telling me that my volume is dangerously low, and subsequently adjusts it back up to maximum. Once a great app, now spoiled completely. I'm very disappointed.
It's probably a good app and service. The other reviews are very positive. However we never got to a proper subscription as this felt too intrusive. Make a annual payment? The agreement is now valid for 10 years. One of the other options went through Google pay and wanted pictures of cards. Regardless of how normal or standard that may be, we will never do that. So as much as this should take care of your need, consider whether you don't mind this intrusion.
This app works great with Samsung Ultra 23S and Shokz Bone Conduction Headphones. But there is a latency using the Bluetooth headphones. It works well for TV and Meetings where your phone can be placed in a good location. The one thing that I don't like is that the developer has no way to be contacted. I would like to switch from the monthly plan to an annual plan to save some money and I feel like the software is worth it. It would be nice to have a pathway to convert your subscription.
I have otosclerosis with tinnitus. This app works better than any real hearing aid device that I've used. Using the microphone on the phone, rather than the headset, is genius. The phone then becomes a remote mic that, for example, I can place in the center of the boardroom table during meetings. The slight audio delay is mildly disconcerting, but not enough to lose a star!
