Description
Been using High Brightness Mode for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that triggers the extra high brightness mode built into a lot of phones these days. Really handy when you’re trying to use your phone outside in direct sunlight.
Here’s what you do: you just open the app and it’ll instantly crank up the screen brightness to the max. There’s also a schedule feature – you can set it to automatically turn on high brightness at certain times. And if your phone is rooted, the app can force even higher brightness than the normal system settings.
Look, if you’re always squinting at your screen outside, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the extra brightness does drain your battery faster – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need to see your screen in bright light.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on High Brightness Mode. I've tested a bunch of brightness booster apps and this one's pretty solid. It's simple to use, gets the job done, and works on most modern phones. The scheduling feature is handy too. The only real downside is the battery drain, but that's the tradeoff for max brightness. Overall though, it's a pretty reliable tool if you need to crank up the screen in direct sunlight.
