This app sucks! connections go no where, has scam/Catfish accounts, didn't enjoy most of the time/results I got from it. once you log out, it's a BIG chance your not gonna be able to get access to it again even with the correct email and the "reset password" email doesn't send so I just lost an account I've subscribed on, so now I got to start over. Has lots to work on to make it a better app. NOT completely recommended unless you have lots of patience and are not serious at the same time.

scam. can't message unless there's mutual likes, but you only get 2 chances a week to look at who likes you even with a subscription. even then, you have to guess based on a blurred picture, and that's best case. "near" is also within 2 states, so that's always fun. since they responded, crushes are limited, but you can buy more. unblurs are limited but you can buy more. emphasis on "buy" more. you get 2 unblurs and 5 crushes for a subscription. $30 a week and at most you can talk to 8 people.

spams you with ads for the subscription and the X button is tiny and takes a few seconds to show. It also randomly zooms in on your photos after a while of them being up. One zoomed in on the background, one on my forehead, etc. None actually show my face anymore. Also opened the app for the first time in months and got a very fake looking DM that I can't even view. It just says "Hey J ..." and you tap it and get a popup asking for $5 to view it. NOBODY opens with "hey name" that's stupid

This app is filled with a lot of Bots. There are some real people in the app but in my experience I hardly find any. I will get a "like" and obviously you cant see the person that sent the like unless you buy "unblur" or have the premium. and if you don't have either, the "app" will send Bots to "like" your profile so that you have to spend money on the app. If you Buy the "Unblur" to see who like you, if you don't use it within a certain amount of time it just dissappears. Wish it was more real

THIS APP JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!!!!! So i just spent $32 to pay for 25 unblurs to see the people that liked me and maybe connect. I used 7 of them and went to the visitor page and clicked on see my visitors, mind you NOT KNOWING that it was going to use ALL the rest of the unblurs i just paid for, then a notification popped up saying i just used 18 unblurs with one click of a button. So i contacted support and they said they cannot and will not do anything because it wasnt a bug.

The app itself is really whatever, its a dating app, they're all pretty junky. Where Hily REALLY loses points is its obnoxious, persistent advertising system. Ads come up CONSTANTLY, will open the app store when you try to close them, and sit on your screen for so long while you try to navigate how to get it to go away. I've found that its actually faster (and probably safer) to force close the app and reopen it than to try to get an ad to close via the buttons the app provides you.

Even if you subscribe ($24 for a month) you still have to pay for other features you would think would be included. Very similar to other dating apps. Algorithm is awful, lowest distance is 30 miles, bots, can't see any info for anything important unless you pay, the chances of being able to swipe on someone that liked you is extremely low as you're swiping on everyone within a 30 mile radius minimum, and they even block you from seeing some profiles that are "popular" if you don't pay premium

I suspected for a while that it was impossible to get an 'unblur' on the daily roulette, and I just saw the proof; it was about to stop on unblur, and then the spin sped up again just before it stopped, and I got a subscription discount instead, WHAT A JOKE! If each option on the spin board doesn't have at least a 1% chance of coming up, then there's no point in including that slot at all! Just remove unblur from the board.

I used this app a while ago and decided to come back and see what had changed. it's similar ti how it was a year ago. However the major chnage I found affected the one thing that kept me on it. I used to, maybe once ever 2 weeks, get a free unblur on the roulette. this gave me hope that maybe I could match one of the people who had messaged/interacted with me. Since I came back I have gotten Zero unblurs, a statistical inprobability. It exists on the wheel to entice. The app is fraudulent

Update: Tried the app again after a year, still garbage. Nobody replies or reads my messages after getting a match, same as the first time. If I was in charge of the app store, I would delete this app. DO NOT USE THIS APP! After buying lifetime I was not able to send or receive messages from any of my matches. Customer support kept ignoring my issue and said it's not an issue with the app. Save your money and use it on another app that actually works. I would rate zero stars if I could.
