So here's my take on HIN Search - Boat HIN Decoder. I've tested a bunch of boat-related apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The core functionality of decoding HIN numbers and checking for issues works really well. It's also super convenient that you don't need internet to use it. But the interface is a little dated and the app could use some more polish. Still, if you need to look up boat info on the go, this gets the job done.
