Pros: very slick and handles very well. Nice pressure sensitivity, sensible UI, filters and brushes are nice. Being able to install brushes is cool. Great options! Cons: Asks for a lot of permissions an art program just doesn't need, likely for the ads. I hate this, it feels really gross and turns me off. Also, installing brushes on mobile isn't intuitive, but I'm still happy to have the option. Offer us the ability to just buy our privacy and not have ads, and I'll up my review.

It's actually pretty amazing! No ads, everything is free and the interface is simple and smooth. The only thing I don't like about this app, is the lack of a variety of brushes, not too sure about the blending. I hope you add more brushes. And I'd like if you can add a lock placement for the reference tab, so I don't accidentally drag it :)

I enjoy drawing on this app, and I would give it 3.5 stars if I could, but it has a few issues. For starters, it's laggy, especially when I draw with a larger size brush or use liquify. Also, for some reason, I can't undo when animating. Furthermore, it's just tough to use on your phone because of the layout. I don't have a tablet, but I have a feeling that it would work way better on one. I do really like how you can add custom brushes for free though I think that that's amazing.

If I could leave no stars I would. Paint brush only seemed to do watercolor when I wanted a more acrylic look, even at 100 opacity. Only a certain amount of layers allowed depending on size. Undo was laggy and would catch up all at once, undoing countless steps. You can't name your layers. Brush itself was laggy. About the only redeeming thing was I had no ads in my short hour ish attempt. Oh and it ate my phone battery like Cookie Monster eats cookies. -_- wouldn't recommend for a 2 year old.

App worked most of the time and felt smooth, but too often it would bug out and cause me to lose entire layers, sections, and even the whole canvas at one point. I feel that for a drawing App, they should iron out some of these fatal bugs. Occasionally the undo button would break and not undo some movements. It would crash and freeze. The brushes worked well, and without these bugs it would be a 4+ Stars. The potential to lose so much of the drawing from one mistake far outweighs any benefits.

pretty good app!! I do have a few problems tho, whenever I select something and try to move it it stretches it instead. Also, whenever I go onto and already existing canvas it doesn't show up and I have to exit out and open it again. There's other small problems I have but I can't seem to remember them right now, but other than that this is a decent drawing app!! :)

Would be 5 stars if it wouldn't crash. There are moments where the app glitches and I have to force it to close and lose progress, idk if it's an ad trying and failing to load or what, but it's honestly not worth it. I was debating buying premium for this, really glad I didn't it would have been a waste of money. Constantly crashing and glitching, hopefully they fix it soon.

It's great!! It's laggy at times, though. There's two things I don't like about it. One is that whenever you're using the same brush and eraser mode, you can't change the individual sizes, if that makes sense, like if you're using a brush and then use that same brush mode for the eraser, the sizes are the same. The second is that whenever you click out of the brush or the color picker on the canvas, it leaves a little dot of color. Overall, it's okay!!

The brushes are smooth and the app is pretty easy to use. No ads from when I used it. You can even save the speed paints, not just the drawing. I've about two things on here. But I have a quick complaint. When I was useing the app drawing a character I was starting to color. After a few minutes, I had an error. There was type of error all over the canvas, the drawing was still able to be seen. But, the error made it annoying✨🌼Want to contact me? lbgtqfangirl on discord!🌼✨

So far it's a really good app! Reminds me a lot of procreate, and is super good! But the only problem is that when I switched back to the tab after texting my friend the drawing was working on doesn't show. And it always says "error loading" I tried opening and closing the app, and then duplicating the drawing, but nothing works, and I don't want to restart.

I was having issues with the app crashing, saying apk exception will be exit, but I found the issue. it was bluetooth that was the problem, but that isn't all. I decided to unpair some devices so I could get a better recording so I could do a bug report... and then I accidentally found out that bluetooth was working now??? so i guess either one of my devices that my device had on the list was bugging out hipaint, or there was too many devices on the list. it works now I guess.

hi devs! i love the app, but the blurryness- and if not that, then the pixelation around the brushes is sooo discouraging. it might not be a huge deal for most people but i am a mobile user and need to zoom in a Ton so its very bothersome. it runs smoothly otherwise, and i am appreciative of the option to watch an ad to be able to use the premium features temporarily.

It's a great drawing app! I just wish it had some sort of account feature that at least saves your artwork. I recently had to delete and redownload the app on my tablet because it said, "Sorry. APK execption will now exit." When I tried to open it earlier (despite it being completely fine last night). I've lost most of my artworks (I've only managed to recover at least 41+ due to me having them saved in Dropbox). Overall, it's a great app. I just wish there was another way to restore your works.

I like the app a lot, but there's issues with it. And I'm going to delete it until maybe y'all fix it, or I don't know... Issue 1: when I draw something, and I want to switch pens or brushes, it erases what I already drew. In large square pixels, or most of my drawing, and the more I use the new pen it erases more of it. And I can't press undo, because it erases more of it. Hope y'all reply to me, because it's a cool paint app.

I'm ride or die for Hipaint because it's the only app I've found with a straightforward UI. I don't know why it was hard to find, but other art apps love to flaunt their fancy features which makes it so you have to navigate through menus in order to repeat the basics. My process needs brush/eraser changes, color picker, undo-redo, ocassional blend & flip, and some move/skew/mesh warp. I can draw quickly here without getting lost in menus and the advanced stuff is there when I need it. Yay!

Haven't been using HiPaint for long, but overall, it seems like a good drawing app. There's various brushes to choose from, tools aren't too difficult to figure out, and I haven't noticed any glitches while I'm drawing, which is what bothers me the most with other drawing apps. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review is the ads. Many when they pop up don't have an exit option, so I have to leave to app and try again and again until I get the right ad. Otherwise it's great. 👍

honestly disappointed, I was so excited to have found a new drawing app instead of ibis paint, and it worked well the first day, but now it keeps kicking me out every 2 minutes, and not saving my work. not to mention I've noticed I can only have up to 8 layers?? im very upset that I now have to use a different app and redraw a commission I've been working on for hours, because this app just has too many flaws.

Honestly, it has great features and is a great art program, BUT the ads are crazy! Not only are there ads, the app makes sure you go to the your devices appstore/google play store page for that ad! There are no "X" to decline those ads too. It will always being you to your devices app store. In a way, I get it, I can understand it's just best to buy it, but this app actively pushes you to buy it or not use the program all together.

it's pretty good, and I've made some amazing art on here! something I don't appreciate about it though is the fact that there's this weird glitch when I try to use the lasso tool. of course, it has the free to use thing, but once I watch the ad it asks me to watch another and doesn't let me use the tool. this makes changing the color of outlines, for instance. so, yeah.

great drawing app. almost prefer it over ibis paint. almost. hipaint has issues with crashing, I'll try closing out of a drawing and it'll start an infinite loading thing. I'll wait a few minutes and just closing the app, some progress is lost. not a lot.. but enough that it's annoying. I'll re-open it hours later and it'll just.. freeze and crash. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.
