I've been using this app for many years now, and I'll never switch to another. I've purchased several resources through the app to aid in Bible study. The print is easy to read and the ebooks simple to navigate. I also frequently copy and paste Scriptures into text messages to share with friends by way of encouragement, and I love how this app places the reference at the top and follows with the verse(s). Others repeat the reference with each verse, which distracts from the message of the text.
Reviews for Holy Bible King James + Audio
I put on my tablet and phone. Freed space just to install. Love the Spanish versions and other versions on app. Also the free commentaries. I can note, highlight, send portions to email or friends. Don't want to be without it. Added on 7-8-22: there's a NEWER version of this Bible, however, I've been using the first version soooo long. it's more challenging to me to switch. I just keep using what has been working for me, but I'll try the new when I'm more ready. 😊
This is totally user friendly. I appreciate that. The audible reading is very nice. The various voices and accompanying auditory effects brings the Bible to life. You get to live it as you are listening. Love to play it in my car also. Never thought I would use a digital Bible more than the actual book, but I do. The scriptural searching ability is a big plus for me. It has made my studying so much easier. I've had another Bible app but this one I like best.
Tecarta - The Holy Bible KJV I have been using this particular Bible App for quite a few years. I must say that I am more than satisfied with it. In appreciate the synching of scripture across all my devices. The ability to share, the highlights, categorizing of notes and cross-references. Once in awhile a glitch with copy and forwarding features but not enough to complain about. Overall, I think it is the best Bible App out there. This is the one. Good customer support.
I've used this app for years now, I've changed devices multiple times and it's never lost any information I've put in it, it really does save everything from highlights to margin notes. I can go back and look at notes i put in from the very first time I've ever used it. Multiple colors to highlight with, and a underline option. There's so much that can be done with this app including downloading study and devotional bibles.
I believe this is the best Bible app that you could possibly hope for! I'm an avid reader and study of the Bible and I find this Bible app to be excellent. I love how you can put in any word in the search window and it will pull up all Scriptures pertaining to that word. Also, like that how you can by pass and go directly to the word or the search window.😘😇 P.S. However, too many adds are now interfering. 😲 I reduced to four stars. Also, deleted the app for a while.
I've used and loved this app for many years, and appreciate some of the improvements that have come along. But the original commitment to unobtrusive, cheaply-removed advertisements has been lost. With the new dedicated search tab, you can be hit with a full-screen, delayed-close secular ad in the middle of your Bible study, and there's no longer an option for a one-time purchase to remove them. Since this kind of back-and-forth search-and-study is my main use, I'm looking for a replacement app.
I installed another version of this app 10 years ago. Tecarta periodically uninstalls the app and replaces it with a different version without warning or my permission. It's a bit annoying because I lose my notes and bookmarks. I also don't like change once I get used to something. I just wish they would just let me enjoy the app without changing it without my permission!!
Very convenient 'package' as it makes the Holy Bible non-bulky, light-weight, & easy-to-read, plus one need not fight any breeze &/or risk tearing any pages. It's also quick-&-easy to find book, chapter, & verse. I also like how some key words are 'footnoted' with instant access to the note without having to leave one's place & search around for the corresponding note (as one must do with a book format).
AFTER 4 YEARS, let me say, add-ons are pricey! At install, you are given a free KJV Bible. Afterward, modules are expensive, and the upselling never ends. You even pay for public domain tools! In all fairness, it is clean, easy, and you will probably find something to buy (I needed the NKJV, and could get it here). HOWEVER, free apps LOADED with excellent study tools are out there! I use them far more than this one. You will have to find and test to discover what works well for you. Better yet, find a good used bookstore and actually own the content. ;-)
