That's an app that sells bread making courses.

I don't get how to use this app... trying to put in preferment (aka starter) but it is grayed out. Do you have to buy the app to get it to work?

I recommend this app. very precise for those who like ingredients in %👍

Looks useful. Living in Southeast Asia, the temperature customization feature of this app is a real plus. But the purchase feature doesn't work.

I m a baker.. since 2014.. I had many of recipes .. but this one is great ever...

good app when it works. often crashes and won't let me see recipe

luv this app. full customization. so many variations available

Too complicated and lots of the futures have to pay to get it and ads in every page.

I don't speak French and I don't use C°. The app looks good, but I won't be using it unless those two issues can be fixed.

You have to Pay for everything in that app. Proving temperature 16°C Where they based? Syberia? If you want to change temperature you have to pay. Ridiculous!

Excellent aid to home bakers. Updating my comment after 1 year: This continues to be a wonderful aid. Extremely thoughtful, detailed, well-designed and well-implemented. Extraordinarily responsive developer. Touches all the bases for the serious home baker. One suggestion: change the name of the app to something like "Home Breadmaker's Companion" or "...Tutor" -- the app is so much more than "Home Bread Recipe." It's like having someone in the kitchen to help you while you're making bread.

Update: deleting app data and app cache Resolved the issue. It may have been related to a brioche recipe created before the temperature adjustment update Thank you. App won't open. Keeps crashing

just wanna say, this is an amazing app. definitely worth the price. theres some things indont understand however. like what is meant by maturity. and what does "proofing OK" mean. i tried the in app help but its in french. can you please translate it to english.

I'm new at this baking thing. I'm more of a BBQ kinda guy. That being said, I made my first loaf bread thanks to this app. I used Bake with Jack's percentage and used this app to adjust the amount of ingredient and to figure out the amount of instant yeast in place of fresh yeast. The bread turned out perfect.

Update 15 oct 2020. The brioche with the wrong temp was crashing it. I cleared all data and cache and reinstalled. It pulled my saved breads from the cloud and is working great. Update 14 oct 2020. App won't open. Keeps crashing Update: developer replied 10 oct 2020 that they are fixing the bug. The brioche recipe had the oven way too hot and too long it came out very burned. I can't find a way in the recipe or customization to change oven temperature cooking time

I rarely eat bread I have not baked myself after a childhood of store bought loaves. This app intrigued me because what baker doesn't want to learn something new? My eyes must be worse than I thought as most of the text was unreadable except on the Method tab. Small and not sharp. I have a 5.5. inch screen. I will try again with new phone coming next week. Looking forward to it but eyes now need rest.

Edit: Appreciate the fix. Good to know that there's a beta channel for the app, wasn't aware of that. I see some users complain about the complexity of the app, but I think this is exactly what separates this one from the rest; giving you control with so many options to customize. This app shines when used on a tablet rather than a 5-6" phone. It really makes a difference. There are still things to improve/fix, but the review section with 500 character limit is not the right place for that.

Many thanks for the update Gilles. Very nicely implemented dark theme. Also, good job with the notes backups. By the way, is there any way that we can backup the notes we make in the main menu? I'm talking about the ones that we take from the all recipes screen, not the ones that we can make in the individual recipes menu. I tried and couldn't find a way. --- On another note, believe me, the app is much improved and is user friendly enough. Don't get disheartened by whiners! À votre santé!

This is almost what I am looking for. However, as long as I can only specify hydration as a multiple of 5% its not as useful as I hoped. Additionally, one doesn't appear to be add ingredients, such as sugar. If this is fixed I will happily up my eating and recommend it to other bakers.

So nearly perfect, just what I was looking for to track my dough stages and alert me to save clock watching. Paid version ( so inexpensive) enables recipe tweaking to suit your own tried and tested recipes . Would have been 5 stars if it had an option to add short notes available in the recipe for test bakes so as to be able to score results. perhaps consider adding that function at a future update.
