So here's my honest take on Home Security Camera - SeeCiTV. I've tested a bunch of home security apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The setup is super easy and it works well, even on older devices. And the video quality is decent and the motion alerts are handy. Not gonna lie though, the app can be a bit buggy at times and the UI is not the most polished. But for a free app, it gets the job done. If you need a basic home security cam on a budget, this is worth a look.

Description

Been using Home Security Camera – SeeCiTV for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you turn an old Android phone or tablet into a home security camera. Pretty solid if you’re looking to keep an eye on your place without spending a ton on fancy security cams.

Here’s what you do: just install the app on two or more devices, one to act as the camera and the other as the viewer. There’s also an option to log in with your Gmail account so you can check in from anywhere. It’s got motion detection and even night vision – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’ve got some old devices collecting dust, this is a great way to give them new life. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a cheap home security solution.

Seems to work fine, but I can't figure out how to use the from facing camera. It seems to only want me to use the selfie side camera. So when...

I must say my experience using the premium version is good. My only and main 2 issues are #1) When it detects movement, it only records for 30 seconds. I...

So far so good, it is exactly as described, simple setup, with a minor, yet obnoxious issue of loud, panic inducing audio feedback loop upon first connection, was due to...
