I’ve been using Hoop – Make new friends for a couple months now. It’s basically a social app where you can meet people from all over the world and add them on other social platforms. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you go through tons of profiles, send friend requests to the ones you like, and then you can chat and add them on other apps. There’s also a way to earn diamonds, which you can use to send more requests or customize your profile. And you can share your profile to earn more diamonds – that reward’s doubled on Sundays, which is pretty cool.
Look, if you’re into making new friends online, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.

So here's my take on Hoop - Make new friends. I've tested a bunch of social apps and this one's pretty solid. The core experience of browsing profiles, sending requests, and chatting with new people works well. I like the diamond system as a way to give you little goals and rewards. Not gonna lie, the ads can get old after a while, and the upgrade grind gets tedious at higher levels. But for a free app, it's a pretty good way to meet new people without a ton of headaches.
