Lately, this has been one of the most user-friendly and comfortable apps for making friends. Everyone gets to talk to people their own age, and no one can message you unless you accept them first. I really hope it stays this way and you don’t start charging for some of the features. The only downside is that you can only upload three profile pictures
Overall good. but could be better. had higher expectations, cz it work d better during the first few weeks. Now too much glitchy and bugs. Takes long time to open. and even I had to open another new account because the one I opened earlier on my other phone with other Gmail, is no longer working or not even opening. I lost my friends. now even the new account is glitching more! please fix this. otherwise it would be a very nice app to make global friends. :')
I think this app is great for making friends, or even partners, and it is one of a kind. Ive been looking for a teenage friend making app for awhile, but they all banned me for being 14 while they state it is made for TEENS. that was off topic but anyways, this app is amazing but does have some flaws such as, theres no chat feature, and you need to pay 10 "gems" to swipe right, and your bio can't be long enough. gems arent too much of a problem though, because you can get 75 by watching an add.
Useless—No messaging feature (but has a grayed out chat button in profiles you swipe on, then someone accepts your request and you find out that's it. This button is no longer there! You can do literally nothing now). You're supposed to see their socials instead, but there are only two platforms you can add, and I don't use either of them. So people just put all their socials in their bio for everybody to see, negating the whole purpose of the app, or add nothing at all. Terrible design overall.
I didn't have a problem with it until the most recent update and I tried changing one of my photos and every photo i tried it said I couldn't use it because my face wasn't showing even though it clearly was. Also it does have a problem sometimes with being slow or glitching out and I'll have to completely close out of hoop and snap a couple times.
It was a great app in the beginning, but it went downhill. First they took the description away making it just about adding people on looks alone. Then they limited the pics you can have so you can't try to show the things you do for fun. It is just look for attractive people and add them and hope they live remotely near you because you won't know until you add them, the description is gone. Oh and it's also nothing but bots adding you now but adding the description back would fix that.
The app worked just fine for the first few adds... But after a while, it stops loading and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app in order to get the app to load. I tried waiting overnight and that doesn't work. Only uninstalling works. This occurs often, only 3 days and 8 uninstalls. With how little you can use the app due to the diamond system, its basically breaking often. This seems to be a common issue among users.
Aggravating Before the update, you were able to upload pictures for your profile easily. However, after the update I had a difficult time adding my photos for my profile ( that fit the requirements for the app) I tried many different pictures of myself to see if any of them would work. I understand that the app is trying to make itself safer, but this is ridiculous.
Honestly the app was really cool. I liked it a lot and I did meet a lot of people. However, after the update where each profile photo requires a face. Made it pretty difficult to enjoy. Even if the photo had my face in it. The software wouldn't accept it. Please restore hoop. Make it so profile photos don't need your face in it.
the app is very difficult to navigate. Often times when I see my friends tab it doesn't show anything, it just says "you're all caught up!" even though I have people on my friends list. And there is no chat option either, it's also glitchy and sometimes won't load correctly if you click on something else. as of now I do not recommend this as an app to make new friends because it lacks the basic features required to be such.
