I read the reviews before I downloaded the app, I wasn't impressed, but went ahead. The same copy and pasted answers was given as a reply, that it was another company that was over charging. I hired 2 scooters, for about 4 hours long, with a 45 minute break and was charged nearly £80. For the same duration in England, it would cost about £12. The scooters themselves are ok and safe to ride. I can't contact Hopp, so have no way of checking if I was over charged or this is their standard rate!

I'd give it -10 stars if it was possible. I picked up the scooter from a parking lot easily, went for a short ride and tried to park. I couldn't stop the ride as apparently I was not in a parking. Despite dozens same brand scooters parked there. Tried 3 more parkings, same thing. Went back to starting point and guess what... the same thing. Finally the map started showing parkings which were NOT displayed there before! I was on my way to another parking and the scooter ended the ride itself...

scooters were great. App kept needing to be restarted to make it work.

Do Not Trust this company, they will fraudulently take money from your bank accounts and prevent users from deleting their banking information, its even worse than a "free subscription" service that steals your money at the end of the month. I have been having probelms with this company for months now, they have been taking money out my bank account without warning because my debit card was stolen and refuse to give a refund or delete the information off the account it's associated with.

I used scooter for 10 mins and it charged me for 15 pounds while it only charge my friend (who ride the same amount of distance) was charged 4 pounds. I checked in the app and want to raise a concern on that ride. There is absolutely no way to report the ride and I was charged unfairly. this is the worst experience I could get, I will never use this app again.

The app was working very well up until recently. Sometimes it charges me even though I have a pass(yes it's selected as my payment method) regularly I cannot even unlock scooters because of them being "disconnected" which happens way too often

Spent ages trying to download this app Tenerife, don't know if it was the reception in my area but my phone had nearly full signal.. Once downloaded it was hard trying to set my payment details into the app and even once it was done I couldn't get a scooter connected to the app as kept getting a something went wrong message. Tried to hire 4 scooters but after 30mins could only manage 3 and I gave up on the fourth so it left me without so spoiled the occasion for our party of 4, won't use again..

It works, I guess. It’s way too expensive to actually use. (I was able to get a taxi for less for a 10-minute ride with the scooter.) It randomly slows down a bunch of times, and there’s just a lack of parking stations in useful spots. Overall, it can be fun to use with friends, but it’s that much more expensive than calling a taxi.

I missed the no go zone, no warnings in dashboard, but no problem let it be my fault, I would go back to fix it. The issue starts here.. you have to walk back the scooter because will not start again once stopped. I missed it by 2km. no support available.

All stations in the same corner of the non grayed area. The marked area is no good indication. Also struggled to comply with the miniature parking area. Ended up as far as i started but poorer. Make sure to invest my 5 euros in the best way since that's all you'll get from me ever.

Good news, was able to get a refund, so, will give four stars. Hopefully the scooter disappearing from the app doesn'thappen again. (Asked to move the scooter, I went and moved it, then they logged me out, when I logged back in, the scooter disappeared from the list and now it seems they will keep counting the time. I messaged in the app, two hours ago, no answer)

No go zones must be fixed. It's a bad experience when you are in a hurry. Maybe a solution is to make them as big as the competitors.

Good scooters but too many that apear on the map, when you try to rent them, they are either "disconnected" or needing meintenance. Why do they even appear on the map if you can't ride them?

I used it for the first time and almost everything felt intuitive. very simple and straight forward to use.

i ride and it just stop and fee me for parking in wrong parking spot 10 euro then start new ride like nothing happened just a scam with no supporting service

Nice and new scooters with wide handle bars, large front wheels and front suspension, good breaks, but with slightly poor turning angles. Very poor area coverage (for now). Location is updated very slowly and because of this the service thinks you are in a slow zone or in a no parking zone. After reaching my destination I had to keep going to find an acceptable parking spot to avoid paying the extra €10, and that's because of the location services that did not update my location.

the scooter was alright but the cover area and the availability of parking spots make them unusable. I had to go back to my original location to park the scooter as it was the closest one so essentially it provided me nothing but take my money. The chat function is also horrendous

App doesn't work or scan, currency is in Euro and no way to change. disappointing!

Great! Urban transportation option. makes it easy to see the very photogenic city of Reykjavik. Units are in good working order in my experience.
