Description
Been using HopWatch for Reddit for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you comfortably browse popular Reddit posts on your Android TV. Pretty solid if you’re into scrolling through funny memes, cool videos, and interesting pics from your couch.
Here’s what you do: you can pick your favorite subreddits like r/pics, r/videos, r/funny, and HopWatch will show you the latest top posts. There’s also a search function – real handy for finding specific Reddit content. And the home screen channel is always updated with the latest viral videos, which is a nice touch.
Look, if you’re a big Reddit user, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you wanna keep up with the Reddit trends from your living room.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on HopWatch for Reddit. I've tested a bunch of Reddit apps and this one's pretty solid. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, and it's great being able to browse all the top posts from my couch instead of squinting at my phone. It's not the most feature-packed app out there, but it gets the basics right. And it's free, so you can't really complain. The only real downside is the ads, which can get a little obtrusive after a while. But overall, it's a nice way to enjoy Reddit on the big screen.

definitely one of the better Reddit experiences on TV. although every once in awhile I encounter a video that plays very slow. it also does not have a homepage view...
