I’ve been using the Horizon NJ MyCare app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you manage your Horizon health insurance coverage from your phone. You can view your benefits, find in-network doctors, order new ID cards, and more. Honestly, it’s a pretty solid app if you’re a Horizon member in New Jersey.
Here’s what you can do: You can check what’s covered under your plan, like medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision. There’s also a tool to help you find nearby providers. And you can even change your primary care doctor right from the app – that was useful when I needed to switch. Took me a little while to figure everything out, but it’s pretty user-friendly overall.
Look, if you’re a Horizon NJ Health or Horizon NJ TotalCare member, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but it gets the job done. Definitely makes managing your health plan a lot more convenient.
