Can't login. Spoke with someone from their help desk. Was told to login from a different web browser. I paid for this for ease of use. Which is not the case. Several other work mates are having the same issue also The developers should address these issues. If you're going to take money from people for a product that they pay for, and can not use, is called theft! Fix your issues or return everyone their money!

← Back to HotSchedulesTerrible. Literally just downloaded it a few days ago because I thought it'd be more convenient than the website and nope. It doesn't give notifications at all. Nor does the app show shift releases, even though there is one in the app. I have to go to the website anyway to pick up shifts for my co-workers. It's bs. I also got atuo-logged out and it will not let me log back in even though I log on on Google Chrome just fine. Waste of money. Just use your browser.
HATE:CRASHES CONSTANTLY!!!!! It's almost impossible opening this app . It constantly logs you and says there's an error when trying to log back in . It's literally impossible looking at my work schedule , yet they charge for this app. I've done every update they make yet it crashes constantly. Only happens with this app . I've asked other coworkers and they've been experiencing the same thing as well so I know it's not my phone . I hate that they charge for an app that can't seem to work right.
Works on and off. You'll be staring at a black screen that says "my schedule" for a long time. Click to see what employees are working with you on a specific night and it'll say "no employees found" you'll have to back out multiple times until you are able to see it and half the time that doesn't work. Alot of closing application just to get it to work properly. Poorly designed and a frustration to work with, especially after dropping money to obtain the app.
Don't Waste Your Money! Use your three dollars for kindling, then it'll atleast have a use. The app is awfully slow. I'm able to turn on my computer far quicker and log in though that than this app can load anything. If you push back at almost any point you won't be brought to the homepage, but exit completely and have to face that atrocious load time. Also if you have to jobs you cant just link the accounts together for better accessibility but have to jump back and forth, once again, facing that load time thats way too long for such a simple app.
The app used to work really well, but each update seems to make it work worse and worse. It's now telling me "no staff" when I try to access the staff directory. It also takes forever to load anything now, and half the time it just gives me an error page. And, that's if it doesn't just log me out completely and prevent me from even seeing my schedule.
The app used to be ok, but now it is awful! I'm not sure what you guys did in some of those updates recently, but the app hardly ever loads anymore. It just sits on the Schedule page with the loading circle forever. Sometimes I can click the menu and go to another page which loads, but even that doesn't work all the time. Whether I'm on an internet connection or using my phone's data doesn't matter. You guys have to fix this because it's really annoying to have an app that I paid for not working
Good when it works. WHEN it works. This thing crashes more than a demolition derby car, until it just dies. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app works about as well as cursing at the phone. I suppose, if you're a gambler, $3 isn't a huge loss, but don't expect this app to help you keep track of that work schedule, you know, the very thing you need in order to have money to waste on apps that cause you to drink!
Taking stars back for the fact that I continue to have issues. My credentials are correct when signing in and I still get error messages. I constantly get loading screens and socket errors. I loved it in the beginning. My favorite part of the app was using the widget. It worked flawlessly, but within the last couple of weeks, it just won't update the widget to show my next shift. I've done all troubleshooting steps. Im beyond frustrated having to rely on this app and all I get are errors.
The app doesn't load my schedule half the time. It seems like every other time I open the app I have to relog into the app. When it does load my schedule, it takes literally 2 minutes for it to load. There is no way to opt out of email notifications in the app, the only way is to open an email from HotSchedules and opt out of emails through that. The website isn't much better, it will not keep you logged in at all, and the interface is far more confusing.
The app used to be great, but now it's hot trash. It's convenient. But that's only when I can get the app to open. Most of the time I wait and wait for the app to open from anywhere between 5-10 minutes. The rest of time it won't open at all. I try restarting my phone, switching from wifi etc. It's frustrating and is faster to login from a web browser. All in all, don't waste your money on the app when you can work faster on a browser, even if you choose to use ye old Internet Explorer.
Doesn't open half the time. Filters for my rosters don't save (Even though it did BEFORE the update). Different tabs don't open unless you restart the app, and even THAT works half the time. All of this happens WHILE ON WIFI by the way. I'm not going to cry over spending $3-$4 on an app, but if you're going to charge people to use an app, make sure it works. You're better off using the web browser.
It's good when I finally get it to work. May the odds be in your favor of getting in. I get 3 different types of "errors" when it doesnt even try to load. I cannot log in which is frustrating because I need to see my schedule. I've started taking screenshots when I can get in so I dont have to spend 15 mins trying to get in each day. It is very unreliable. Spare your time and money.
awful. just awful. Unintuitive, not user-friendly, obvious features not there especially when trying to communicate needs regarding time off and scheduling in general. Feels incredibly dumbed down. Prepare to bang your head against a wall. half the time I can't tell if a feature is missing or it's just really buggy... often can't enter information. The ability to send texts to coworkers is great, and it updates to my Google calendars really well!
The fact that I had to pay money for an app for my job, only to have that app fail to load any information 75% of the time is absolutely a wrongdoing on the companies end. If we have to pay money for something, it should at least work right. I have to open and close this app probably 3-4 times any time I need to check my schedule, my employees roster, or even messaging. And even then, it functions horribly. Horrible app. Make it free or make it work.
A total pile of steaming dog poo. Do not sign with hot schedules. They promise the world and the app interface looks like it's 30 years old. Crashes constantly. Doesn't do half of what they promised in the sales call. It's so bad, you can't even make a group chat and name it. Of course, they promise you can get out of the contract within 30 days, but that's a lie. It is expensive and total junk. We had 2 hours of training and still could barely get it working. Switched apps, very happy
It hardly wants to load anymore. They change everything right when you get used to it. Also as a company we already pay you, why should my staff have to pay you more to use a broken app? I'm sick of this. I waited a year to drop the rating of this app, hoping they would fix connectivity issues and long app loading times. Nada. Zilch. They blame your connection or your phone, even though you use things with infinite more processing needs regularly. HotSchedules is a joke now. Maybe it always was.
What is happening? Every update, something new breaks. Now it often won't load the home page correctly, has login issues left and right, no longer displays scheduled sections, among many other issues. It feels as if someone who works on this is getting at someone by wrecking the code or something. This app costs money to display basic information you can get through the website. If you're asking people to pay, at the very least make your product work. Thanks.
I hate this thing so much. Not only does it take 20 minutes to load up, the vast majority of the time it simply wont accept your login info. feel free to get it if you enjoy entering your info 500 times wondering if you're going insane just for it to randomly let you in finally, freeze up, then give you a massive error report. hate how hotschedules is considered essential for jobs, but at least the desktop version is free. I thought a few bucks for convenience was worth, but no convenience here.
If it was free it would be fine but when forced to pay $2.99 from your minimum wage job to use this, it is complete junk. Doesn't have same features as iOS app, constantly fails to login, constant exceptions thrown so have to always restart to see your schedule (even that doesn't work half the time), no basic sharing, no availability option, no sorting, and the list goes on. Amature at best. If there were another option, this app would be defunct. Tech support pleasant but know all these issues.
