From the moment I installed the smart outlet it's been nothing but problems. The outlet keeps shutting off and losing connection to the WiFi. Spoke to tech support and they say they are aware of the issue and hope to push a fix to all units soon. 😭😭😱 We will see..... So here is an update. The new software was pushed out and the outlet actually stayed on for few days....that was a first. But today once again the unit is off and I had to turn it back on. Same as before. What's the point🤬😡🤬

If multiple dimmers are ganged together in one box, it is not able to make the initial connection. It requires physically separating the dimmers, and setting up the connection with only one dimmer receiving power at a time. Apparently the devices interfere with each other on initial Bluetooth connection. Once they are setup, they can then all be connected together and work through the wifi connection ok. The instructions should include this warning.

This was fine for almost a year, then they ran an update that purged all devices from my account. I've only been able to reconnect one of them. Shame. Update: I did eventually get everything setup again. The downside is that the same issue happened again, another update and all setup data is gone. Everything needs to be setup again and synced, which means hours of work. Terrible app, terrible product. Never purchasing anything related to hubspace again

The app worked Okay for the first 4-5 months of usage, and setting up a schedule for our light to turn on and off at a specific time. However, about 1-2 months ago, I found that the light would randomly stop obeying our schedule set and turn off in the middle of the night always. Afterwords, I went ahead tried resetting the schedule to realize it didnt work. The light continues to not follow our schedule and turn off when it wants to.

I bought the track light almost a year ago. Initial setup with this app was very easy and worked well for the most part, but would occasionally lose WiFi connection. I have the latest July 11, 2024 update. It was necessary for me to move the light to a different WiFi. This latest version of the app on my Google Pixel phones (6a and 3) absolutely REFUSES to reconfigure the light's WiFi! Also failed on my wife's iPhone! I'll rate this app higher when you fix this problem with it!

if I could rate 0 stars, I would. As I previously reviewed, this app is absolutely awful. When I first downloaded it, it never would consistently connect to my fan. I had to uninstall and reinstall every other time of attempting to use it even. I have updated the app, cleared the cache, removed the device & added it bk to no avail. Support didn't offer me any lasting solution to my issue, and now the app just plain doesn't work at all with my device. I've never been more frustrated with an app!!

affordable. convienient when it connects. would be better if the lights didnt require a connection to my modem. it should also work through Bluetooth on my phone, as a redundancy. my modem often has poor reception. they should make a programmable physical remote, that I can quickly switch on and off lights, sometimes when im tired I dont feel like Turing on my phone and waiting for the phone to load the app and sometimes like I described above, the connection to the modem fails.

The app is decent and simple to setup the security system sensors etc. Alexa & Google integration works. The main issue I have is it has no notification categories, so every time the security system provides a notification, it uses the same default sound. If someone sets off the alarm then I want it to be a unique sound e.g. a siren. The actual siren is not loud and because it's on the 1st floor and I'm on the 2nd floor, I can't hear it when sleeping (so I need the app to alarm). Plus for travel

The app is slow and glitches alot. The plug keeps losing connection. The lights glitch and won't turn off all the way even after I've pushed the off button in the app. We only got these because my husband only likes the feature to swipe the dim mode to 1% without accidentally turning it off like this other products we've used in the past. Tried this product out and would not recommend it. I prefer Cync instead over this. I'm only giving 2 stars because it's ok at best.

I tried syncing the same color for two fixtures in a 'group', but it didn't work. Thank you to the developer's response with the solution to use 'rooms' selection for choosing and syncing the same color for multiple lamps, which worked! For this side of Heaven, the range of color choice is awesome with the bulbs. 😎 I upgraded my review from 4 stars to 5 due to their quick response and resolve. 😀

Bought an ecosmart lightbulb from Home Depot, upon trying to set up nothing happens. When looking into the settings on the device im trying to set up up it says "WiFi has not been set up. Complete the setup using the setting below." and beside network it is grayed out. I am unable to click on anything to view available networks. There is no option to connect the bulb to any wifi network therefore not allowing the light to be customized in the app. So much for setup in less than 60 seconds.

It is a terrible app. Have to constantly close and restart to get it to "come online." The app crashes constantly even on my very expensive android. I have tried reinstalling, reseting wifi and bluetooth, and various other fixes. When it works, it's mediocre at best. It requires me to have wifi, bluetooth, AND location on even though I use it in a very small space, and there are no other options for access. Its a security nightmare, and any amateur hacker could exploit it easily. Trash.

Good luck if you're doing this on an Android device. Three devices and couldn't get them connected to wifi until I used an Apple product. Apparently this issue has been occurring for years without a fix. I found the solution through three year old posts. Schedules don't always take. I've had to go back and redo them. If I was using the app and devices for something I used often, I would be looking for another solution. Devices need integration with other systems.

very good. easy to use. only had one problem a long time ago that I was having conflicting schedule but an update fixed it. besides that really easy to connect and use. The voice commands are give or take depending on how the assistant adds fan speeds. for example, slow very fast, fast or one two and three. but once you figure it out it's easy

Not great, worked fine for a bit. now I've been sitting in the dark for 4 days. First the app just wouldnt log in; the fact that I have to be logged in to turn on a light is asinine. Now the app logs in but can't detect any of the devices that are powered. Resetting the devices does nothing. Pretty disappointing for $15 lightbulbs...

I am enjoying this app, as a Disabled Veteran this protects my health and safety. If I have to get up in the middle of the night to let my service dog out, I can easily turn on the lights that I need before I even get out of bed, avoiding tripping or falling over something. Other apps for Wi-Fi-enabled lights that I have used are constantly losing their wifi connection, usually adding a couple of extra steps at a minimum. At the worst, you have to start all over from scratch.

when we first purchased the lights and installed them, everything worked great. that was a temporary thing. first problem was between my girlfriend and myself, only one of use could access the app at a time. now, neither of them can be accessed and we are limited to the schedules on the lights. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

I have to say easy to use, a very flexible and dynamic application, and a really decent quality for an AFFORDABLE price. Thank you for an excellent product line that is a perfect solution to help get my dream carreer going. I now have proper lighting throughout our home/studio for shooting video, workshop lighting, performance, and entertaining guests on tap. Keep it up, please!

Why does the app that controls a lightbulb in the same room as me need some server half way around the world or it fails? The app should be functional without the internet, period. I'm not buying any more Hubspace or any "smart" products that aren't open source compatible. Its so ridiculous that my light bulb is stuck in whatever mode it was in when the servers went down. And the servers seem to be down a lot lately, this isn't the first or second time this has happened.

worked great for a year or so, but now, every time we open the app, 3 or more devices show as offline, and it takes a min or 2 for it to find them. and I mean EVERY time we open the app. even if it's just for a second switching between apps, it's lost those same devices again. furthermore, internet goes out at least once a year in or area, and the app will not work over wifi only, it MUST have an internet connection. 4 or 4.5 stars if we didn't have the offline issue.
