Informative and very detailed graphics. I'd like to be able to zoom in on the text, even though i have it set to large, it's still a bit too small for old eyes. It would also be good if the navigation buttons were larger and their function be more obvious Not good enough reasons not to download the app though.
Reviews for Human Anatomy Atlas 2026
Very good app, as of oct 21 2020 it used up 656 MB of my cellular data to download the advanced animations. (Because I downloaded the app on WiFi, and then opened it without Wi-Fi when on the go.) Please make it so that a prompt appears to only download additional data only on WI-FI.) IT HAS BEEN 7 MONTHS SINCE MY REVIEW AND THE APP STILL EATS UP MY DATA EVERYTIME I OPEN THE APP. It doesn't prompt me if I want to re download all the extra content, it just does it automatically w/DATA or WIFI!
Absolutely fascinating app for human anatomy lovers, very detailed and comprehensive! Provides not only the nomenculature for all the muscles, organs different types of tissue and whatever you can imagine that exists in the human body, but also information about it's function. Definitely worth the small price that I paid for it. And you can also buy extensions that have even more anatomy
Great app for artists studying anatomy. Provides details on origin and insertion, including flexion, abduction, and extension. It uses academic terms which is great if you want to get into teaching like me. I wish they had an app for bovines, birds, horses, and reptiles. This app deserves an exceptional review!
Paid for the app but doesn't work on my Note 10+. Closes immediately on launch. Seems to be affecting other note users. Instead of emailing the support team, perhaps you could reply to this message with the workaround instructions (assuming it can be worked around). Will update to 5 stars once addressed. Cheers
You would think that after purchasing an app you would have full access. Nope! You have to spend extra money to watch videos. It would have been nice to know that the account does not transfer to different devices as well. I would have put it on my computer rather than my phone if I would have known. It is too hard to read and navigate on my small phone screen.
This app is great! It has both female and male anatomy, shows you all the different layers of the body, and quizzes to test yourself. With the quizzes, it would be awesome if you could make your own. For example, I am studying the general body regions right now (ex: Cephalic, sural, anterior crural, dorsum of the foot).
I love it. Only thing I don't like is the unintuitive rotating mechanism of the model. When you zoom in, the sensitivity is not reduced so the model rotates a bit too fast. AND it only rotates on one fixed point the center of the model. If you zoom in on an area very far from the middle of the model and then try to rotate it, the camera gets left out because it rotates too fast. If you guys could just make so that it rotates around a point in the model that is centered on our view/camera. Thanks
One of the anatomy apps with great potential. What frustrates me is how every gyrus on the cerebrum is treated as one object. I can't hide/dissect any sections on it. If I want to for instance simply remove the motor cortex, I lose the whole hemisphere. Secondly, many connective tissues are missing. Such as the ribs in the app, they are missing literally every single spine ligament (ex. Costotransverse ligament).
There's some slight technical and performance issues even on higher end phones. But it's honestly not a big deal with the absolute behemoth pile of information so densely packed in. Whether you're a medical student or just interested in the human body you can learn so. Much from just one source.
