Huntington has really let me down. I was able to set it up to samsung pay, I was able to link it to my Doordash account, but it when it comes time to automatically deposit into my account, it bounces back. I can't sign in. I even did forget username. I called the 1800 number and the system looked up my phone number and it's as if I don't even exist! I've signed in on my app just a couple days ago! And now I can't! If your system is experiencing problems, then let your customers know asap!

This is the worst mobile/online banking experience I've ever had. I can't make principal only payments on loans, there's a bug that's been going on for more than 2 months after you click "make a payment", it says "One or more fees must be selected and have an amount greater than 0" and there's nowhere for you to specify the amount. I have to call into the PCL department or visit the bank to apply payments. All future mortgages and loans I will take to a bank that has competent online banking
Mobile app really sucks if you have any type of issues. You can't speak to anybody in real time unless you want to wait on hold for up to two hours. They know they have an issue with sending verification codes but no idea when that problem will be resolved. So if you plan on getting a new phone, good luck with getting that new device verification code. I'm about to change banks if this problem isn't resolved quickly. The automated response to every bad review is annoying as well.
It's been 2 years since I wrote a review and voiced my concerns. Obviously they were never addressed. The security systems will strong arm you from your own account. They don't make it easy even to simply login, and the system will be slow, never send you the required verification email, or simply lock your account just because. Unacceptable, especially if you are traveling abroad and need to use your card, just for it to be locked. Be warned:you CANNOT unlock your card without visiting a branch
Initially, I gave this bank a horrible review. I was convinced that they were scamming people and stealing money from my account or at least messing up and causing duplicate charges or something. After my review, i was contacted by the bank, and everything was explained to me, and they even refunded one of the fees. Im still upset they took my overdraft coverage away, though I always paid it back within their 24-hour grace period. I do love the mobile app, a main reason i have decided to stay.
Don't know what happened but it hasn't let me login for a few days. Like many others, says there is a connection issue and to check internet access. Extremely frustrating. It had been working just fine last week. Fix this, or many people will be tempted to close their Huntington accounts. The app is supposed to be helpful, definitely sucks now 😒
Spend analysis tool does not work. I physically added up all actual posted and pending monthly transactions, and the numbers did not match the tool. After looking through the transactions from the spend analysis tool, some were listed multiple times, including a pending one I currently have. This resulted in the tool showing I've spent several hundred dollars more than I actually have this month. I have not used other features. Based on this one, I don't want to.
I work with multiple financial institutions, and this app is by far the worst of all. I constantly tells me my biometric unlock is a "bad password" and often will not even open. Crashes all the time. This is my third phone using this app and it's the same with all three devices. Also, not necessary app related, but all three of my other banks can initiate a real time transfer, Huntington is still 3-5 business days and charges fees for everything. Get with the times.
They've taken away the ability to view history and pause/manage cards. This app isn't any good for anything other than viewing your balance. Used to be handy. Not anymore. Feels like they're trying to force you to cone in to the branch location and listen to their sales pitch about their credit card. Not sure how much longer we will be banking here.
Every now and then the app has bugs and I'm usually willing to just go with it, I know they'll eventually get fixed. We're going on months though of where I have to get a verification code just to login or just to use the quick view. Doesn't matter how many times you say remember this device, I still have to do it and it's very very irritating. If the last update was just in May, I'm confused as to why it hasn't been resolved. My phone is an Android, please fix this.
This app works great 50% of the time. The other 50% I can't ever seem to access my information and it happens to be when I need it most, go figure. They maintenance the app frequently and you can't use it all while they're doing it. Sometimes it takes hours before you can access it again. Sometimes I try to log in and get a "something went wrong" message and can't access my account. For all the maintenance they do you'd think things like that would be fixed.
The app used to work great, but I haven't been able to log in for the past couple of updates. I contacted dev support, provided them all the details they requested, went through their troubleshooting steps and in the end their response was, "This is due to the format and font of the check." Which obviously has nothing to do with the problem of not being able to log in. I haven't received any further response after multiple follow-ups.
Unable to unlock my debit card on app and online all day. I've never had an issue with this the whole time I've had my account for over 5 years. This is very disappointing. I called customer service and the hold is over 45 mins. I'm not going to wait that long for a feature that was available through the app within seconds. I'm going to close my accounts too many issues. Plus the atm's don't work!!!!
Do not believe the notice that bugs have been fixed when in fact there are now bugs making the app useless. It used to be great. Now, like the other recent posts indicate, mobile deposits are not possible. No longer automatically takes photo and freezes in process of taking photo. Been trying for 2 days. No point in even having an app if not able to make deposits. And if can't make mobile deposits, will need to find another bank.
The app worked great for me for at least a year. Now, since their last update that supposedly was fixing bugs and crashing, I can't even open it. I get the green Huntington logo and then the app immediately crashes and closes on me. It doesn't even give the option for a crash report. I don't know what changes have been made, but they need to go back to what it was. I wouldn't even bother with this app until they fix it. It's insanely frustrating!
I have been using this app for years and it's ok. But recently, I am keep getting an error message every time I try to request a code. The error message says that I'm not connected to the internet even though I am 100 percent connected to the internet.. I even try to use my wifi in which is pretty fast and strong, as well as my data. The error message still persisted. I don't know why it's keep saying that for no reason. I can't get into my account 😫... please fix this issue asap!
On the rare occasion it works it's nice, but this app barely works most of the time anyway, and now it's been saying "something went wrong" and hasn't loaded at all for almost a week. I've done all the app "maintenance" and it just keeps saying it's because of "my connection" even though my connection is great and it's the only app on my phone that isn't working. 🙄 It was being weird before it stopped working too and was screwing up transfers, makes no sense.
This app is trash, and there have apparently been no attempts to improve it. Multiple times a week, I'm told that the device I've had for 2 years isn't a registered device even though it is. I then request a verification code and am told it's incorrect. Sometimes a second verification code works, sometimes it doesn't. I select "remember this device" every time and it makes no difference. I'm not sure why I even bother at this point.
It was fine until this weekend. I transferred standby cash, and it's telling me that it's pending because I haven't made the last payment on the last one I did. But my account reflects that it was paid in full this weekend automatically. it also won't let me log into the account and keeps giving me an error message.
