Been using Hurdlr: Mileage, Expense & Tax for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you track your business expenses, mileage, and income tax stuff if you’re self-employed, a contractor, or drive for Uber/Lyft. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can connect Hurdlr to your bank accounts and payment processors like PayPal, Stripe, etc. to automatically import your income and expenses. There’s also a mileage tracking feature which is pretty cool. And you can take photos of your receipts – it took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re a freelancer or gig worker, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Hurdlr: Mileage, Expense & Tax. I've tested a bunch of expense tracking apps and this one's pretty solid. The automatic import of income and expenses is a game-changer, and the mileage tracking is super convenient. The receipt capture could use some work, but it gets the job done. Honestly, it's way better than trying to keep a shoebox of receipts. For the price, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're self-employed.
