So here's my take on the IAA Buyer Salvage Auctions app. I've tested a bunch of apps in this category and this one's pretty solid overall. The selection of vehicles is really impressive - you can find all sorts of stuff, from lightly damaged fleet cars to completely totaled vehicles. And the bidding process is straightforward and the prices can be really good if you know what you're doing. That said, the app does have a few issues - the UI isn't the most intuitive and I've had some trouble with notifications not working properly. But those are relatively minor gripes. If you're into buying salvaged cars and parts, this is definitely one of the better options out there.

Pros

  • Huge selection of vehicles - cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more
  • Can find some great deals on lightly damaged or salvaged cars
  • Easy to use bidding process, even if you're new to this
  • Works for all kinds of buyers - dealers, mechanics, scrappers, etc.

Cons

  • User interface is a bit cluttered and not the most intuitive
  • Notifications about new auctions or outbid alerts can be hit or miss
  • Some of the vehicle descriptions and photos could be better

Description

Been using the IAA Buyer Salvage Auctions app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can bid on lightly damaged or totaled cars, trucks, and other vehicles anytime, day or night. There’s all kinds of stuff – cars, motorcycles, even heavy equipment. A lot of the inventory comes from places like rental car companies or repossessions, so there’s some pretty decent deals if you know what you’re looking for.

The app lets you search the inventory without an account, but you’ll need to sign up if you actually want to place bids. There’s a bunch of filters to narrow things down – by vehicle type, damage level, price range, and more. It’s pretty handy if you’re a used car dealer, mechanic, or just someone who’s into buying cars for parts or scrap.

Look, if you’re into that kind of thing, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky and the notifications are hit or miss – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you’re looking to buy some salvaged vehicles.
