The app itself is amazing for art and overall easy to use and figure out. Although, the online gallery has little to no moderation and people are saying/sharing bad things. Bots are downloading people's artworks and using it for AI training without the artist's permission. This is getting out of hand. If used solely for drawing and not looking at the online gallery, it's fine and great for art. Fix the gallery PLEASE

It's a good art app and probably the only one that is tolerable and available on an Android phone. There is a lot of freedom and you can complete your art without constraints. And there are available brushes that are a bit different and usable without having to pay for them. There are references to help draw other stuff. I think this is a good app overall.

I've used this app since freshman year and have always worked decent minus a few crashes from lag, but I've never had an issue as it'd work fine immediately after. I own the basic ad-free, mainly for brushes. With that said, they recently added custom imported brushes artists could put in. Which would be great! If it wasn't five free imports before, you have to get premium. It sucks because that's only five forever, no refresh at the end of the week, so there's no point to it unless you pay up.

i used to like this app, but it takes up way too much space. The app isn't transferring anything to my iPad despite having plenty of space and being logged into the same account. It's also not giving me my membership on the iPad. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. Also since getting the membership, the app has been so slow I can't even click a drawing without it crashing or freezing for several minutes.

this is the best app I used while at first it was confusing but once you get the hang of it it's really easy to use especially if you're not creative there's a bunch of eyes hair color everything and even if you don't pay for prescription like other apps of drawing it would you can't really do that much but this will make you do everything you can even without paying them.

It's been my favorite art program for YEARS but lately it's been very buggy. 1. My premium sub randomly disappears. When I try to restore it gives me a "there's nothing to be restored" yet restores it anyway. 2. When using the undo feature sometimes it creates blank, decently big squares in the art which can only be fixed by redoing ur next step, so you can easily lose a good chunk of art if you accidentally click something bfr redoing. 3. Freezing. a LOT. can't import pics w/o freezing also.

Hello, this is a good app! But i have a few complaints. One is that sometimes when im doing lineart, coloring and shading, the copy color tool will randomly trigger and i would end up copying the color when i didn't want to...its annoying. Another is that sometimes people would draw NSFW and will be out to the public and that makes me uncomfortable. Maybe get a few mods here and have them take down the NSFW art? Thank you so much! 🩷

I love that it's free, giving me a chance to enter the world of digital art and practice not sucking at drawing, without spending a fortune on art supplies. I love that there, isn't an ad being played every time you click on something. so it doesn't interrupt you in the middle of a breakthrough during the learning process. it doesn't paywall poor people like myself out of being able to use the program and learn how to draw. best thing is all brushes available for 4 hours with just ONE! ad👏👏

Love this app a lot! It helped me greatly with my drawing skills and is now the only drawing app I use! Iove almost everything abt it! However often glitches when I close out and try to open a drawing I worked on. sometimes makes me wait to restore it. I miss when ppl could use brushes for 18 hrs with an ad. it's at four hours now. Also it'd be great if they had a feature where you can create an account via the app to save your work should you need to get a new device. Still great app overall.

It was great for the past few years but this year it's been a struggle. I don't feel very encouraged to draw with this app because it keeps crashing. Constantly. Crashing. I clear the cache, delete and reinstall, restart my phone. Nothing works. There's something wrong with the app. I don't really want to learn the ins and outs of another digital art app but I think I have to considering I can't even use this one.

I love this app, that said, I have a few problems. 1- blending. There is no blending tool, the best I can get is smudge+blur 2- smudge. It works fine, but it will take colors from things it's not even touching, like if the background is white, and I'm using it as a blending tool because there is none, there will be a smudge of white even if it's not touching it. 3- blur. This works fine as well, but has a similar problem to smudge. 4- animating. I wish you could add sound to the animations.

i really love this app so so much, and I've used it for so many years, but literally an hour ago it stopped opening. I'd try pressing it and it'd automatically close immediately. I decided, despite not being able to save any drawings, to delete and redownload it, and it still has the closing problem. the only thing I could think of was leaving this review in hopes of getting attention to it. I'm sorry.

I've been using this app for about 9 years and it's been great to me. But lately my experience has been pretty choppy. There's a bunch of ads now, my preview images don't load, they changed the set up of all the tools so now it's hard to look at. What's the point of having an account with ibis if it won't save my work? EDIT: Had to take away more stars because it just keeps getting worse. I ended up paying for premium and can't even open the app now.

Ibis Paint compared to the other art apps is absolutely superior. The controls are easy, there are so many brushes to pick from, and you can make a drawing or animation! I have used Ibis Paint for 3-4 years and it ACTUALLY started my love for digital art. Plus, no, I haven't encountered ANY crashes or bugs! All my art projects went smoothly and turned out great. This is the best free drawing app I've used so far. Layers, masking, magic wand, folders, different brushes, good UX, good text options, rulers and symmetry, bucket fill under line work, plus it has a section of free to use assets. (Free to use non-commercially.) Things I'd like to see added: shape tools (I just want to draw a rectangle please. And a circle sometimes.), rectangular selection, gradients, a pen tool (ie a way to draw something one vertex at a time, ideally with arc control)

I've been using Ibis Paint for years now, and it's been great, but the ads are becoming way too much. There's an ad every single time I close the canvas, and they can also pop up on your canvas and interrupt your drawing randomly. The banner ad at the top was fine, and watching an ad for certain pens was fine until they made it so you only get said pen for 4 hours. Please do something about this if you can.

My old review was about minors getting harassed on lb. Now it's about the literal bots and ragebaiters downloading my art to train ai/post with a price tag. You can't report users on this app, only block their comments. They don't show up when you search them if they don't post art (which they never do) and you can't keep people from downloading your art. I tried to go to the FAQ page last time, but it kept kicking me out. It's doing the same thing still. I've also found porn on this app. Wow.

For just the art service, I'd have to give this five stars. Great features and brushes, almost everything can be used for free with very occasional ads, and the price for premium is reasonable. It's also very intuitive and easy to learn. But I have to knock it down a star because of the social media. It's rarely updated, has very little moderation, and is not appropriate for anyone below 13 and even then I'd recommend parental guidance. But if you just wanna draw, I highly recommend this app.

As someone who has drawn on ibis paint X for years, (both tablet and phone with finger) it's overall a pretty good app where you don't need Internet at all! it's amazing how it's free to use and not too hard to figure out how to work; however for me who watches adds to get other brushes I can no longer do that. The text saying; "Get add free add removal!!" Like no, I'm ok with having adds, but I can't use those brushes anymore. Is it a bug? If not, ibis paint please fix this.

this is the best free digital artwork app out there, many brushes, nice and easy to use tools, and alot more. I've been using this for 2-3 years, and whatsoever I haven't encountered anything weird or buggy. however, I would suggest a feature where you can add custom canvas proportions as templates, where you can make custom ones and save them to use later. however still a good app though, great and well built!
