So here's my honest take on iCut: Video Editor & Maker. I've tested a bunch of video editing apps and this one's right up there with the best of them. The sheer number of features is really impressive - you get all the basic stuff plus a ton of advanced tools. It's not the most intuitive app out there, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty darn capable. The video output quality is great too. My only real gripe is the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times, but that's a minor nitpick. Overall, I'd recommend iCut to anyone looking for a full-featured yet user-friendly video editor.

Pros

  • Tons of editing tools and effects to play with
  • Good video quality output, works well for social media
  • Free to use with no paywalls or mandatory subscriptions
  • Decent selection of music/audio tracks to add to videos
• Simple sharing options to post your creations online

Cons

  • UI can feel a bit overwhelming with all the options
  • Exporting large videos takes a while on older phones
  • Some features are locked behind in-app purchases
  • Occasional crashes or freezes, not the most stable

Description

Been using iCut: Video Editor & Maker for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one video editing app where you can cut, crop, add effects, and do pretty much anything to your videos. Pretty solid app if you’re into making social media content or just sprucing up your home videos.

Here’s what you can do: there’s all the basic editing tools like trim, split, and merge clips. But it’s also got more advanced stuff like filters, transitions, speed control, and even voice extraction. Took me a while to figure out all the features but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into video editing and want an app that can do it all, you’ll probably like iCut. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit cluttered at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a powerful yet user-friendly video editor.
