So here's my honest take on iDoser Premium. I've tested a bunch of these types of 'binaural beats' apps and this one's pretty solid. The selection of 'doses' is really impressive, and I like how it syncs everything to the cloud. The ambient sounds are a nice touch too. On the downside, the free version is kinda annoying with all the ads. And I found that some of the 'doses' were hit or miss - a few of them just didn't do much for me. But overall, if you're into this kind of thing, iDoser Premium is worth checking out.

Pros

  • Tons of different 'doses' to choose from
  • Syncs your progress to the cloud so you can pick up where you left off
  • Ambient soundscapes are a nice addition
  • Free to download and try out

Cons

  • The free version has a ton of annoying ads
  • Some of the 'doses' didn't really work for me
  • Gets a bit repetitive after using it for a while

Description

Been playing iDoser Premium for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that uses binaural beats to try and put you in different mental states, like being focused or relaxed. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you pick a ‘dose’ – there’s over 150 different options, from productivity boosts to lucid dreaming. You just put on your headphones, press play, and let the beats work their magic. There’s also a bunch of ambient soundscapes to choose from, which is a nice touch. And the app keeps track of your ‘doses’ in the cloud, so you can pick up where you left off.

Look, if you’re into brainwave entrainment or just want to try something new, you’ll probably like iDoser Premium. It’s not perfect – the free version has a ton of ads – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re curious.

Slipstream no longer works with Bluetooth headphones. I've tried three different sets of headphones and it always stops after the first dose if the screen is locked. Unlocking the screen...

Love this app. Humor and all. Mix these with other methods of brainwave entrainment. I get the most usefulness from the lucid dreams/astral/theta tracks. Would purchase again. App does crash...
