Description
I’ve been using IFTTT – Automate work and home for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you connect all your apps and devices to automate stuff. Pretty solid if you’re into productivity and smart home tech.
Here’s what you do: you can create little ‘if-this-then-that’ recipes to automate all kinds of stuff. There’s also a bunch of pre-made templates to get you started, which is super helpful. And you can even use location-based triggers – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a really cool feature.
Look, if you’re into smart home gadgets, productivity apps, or just want to save time on everyday tasks, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on IFTTT - Automate work and home. I've tested a bunch of productivity and automation apps, and this one's pretty solid. The no-code interface makes it super easy to set up all kinds of handy workflows, from triggering smart home devices to automatically saving files and more. The community-made templates are a great starting point too. But it does have a few issues - the UI can be a bit confusing at first, and some of the more advanced features take a while to figure out. Overall though, it's a really useful tool that can save you a ton of time.
