I’ve been using iHID Background Video Recorder for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you record videos secretly, even with your screen turned off. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do – there’s a one-tap button to start recording. You can record with or without a preview, save to your SD card, and choose video quality and stuff. And it’s got a cool timestamp feature too. Took me a while to figure out all the settings but it’s useful once you get it set up.
Look, if you need to record stuff secretly, this app will do the job. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it works well and is worth checking out.
