So here's my honest take on illumibot. I've tested a bunch of apps that let you create digital art and projections, and this one's actually pretty solid. The core functionality works really well - it's easy to set up, the visuals look great, and you can get some really cool effects. And i like that it's not just for techies, anyone can use it. On the downside, the social features and community stuff feel a bit tacked on and not that polished. And the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But overall, if you want a simple way to turn your room into a digital art gallery, illumibot is worth a look.

Pros

  • Tons of creative projection effects to choose from
  • Voice controls make it easy to use even if you're not tech-savvy
  • Works with multiple projectors for synchronized displays
  • Free to use, no need to pay for the core features

Cons

  • Social/community features feel underbaked
  • Ads can get pretty annoying if you don't pay for the premium version
  • Interface is a little clunky and not super intuitive at first

Description

Been using illumibot for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you connect your phone to projectors and turn ordinary surfaces into crazy digital displays. Pretty cool if you’re into creative stuff like that.

Here’s what you do: you just open the app, tell it what kind of projection you want, and it creates this awesome visual effect on the wall or ceiling or wherever. And there’s also a community feature where you can share your creations and check out what other people have made. And the best part is you don’t need any technical skills – it’s all voice-controlled, so even I can use it.

Look, if you’re into art and lighting and that kind of thing, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to bring some fun digital vibes to your space.

it's not there yet. It freezes constantly on the S24 Ultra and acts up when trying to use the S pen or any stylus to better refine your images/mapping masks...

I saw Illumibot on a YouTube vid. I don't have the $300 hardware yet but I wanted to try out the software and see what it is actually like. Extremely...

Loving my bots! only thing is I wish either you could switch the temp to F instead of C or at least have an option to choose
