There is way too much in a movie page that is not directly related to the movie. Quit advertising other movies on the pages. It's irritating to have to keep scrolling to finally get to the photos and videos for a specific movie i want to learn more about. If you insist on putting that extra stuff on there, then put it at THE BOTTOM! I'm so sick of companies and their obsession with product placement and ads. News flash!! - I will REFUSE to voluntarily click on ad's. PERIOD!!!

App works great! Almost as well as the computer version. The only thing I don't like about the app is that it doesn't show at a glance the specific episodes of TV shows different actors were in on their filmography, where the computer does show this. You have to go through the cast list for each individual episode if you want to find that out. For this one flaw, I would rate the app as 4.95/5 if possible. Overall, the app is amazing and works wonderfully.

Why did they break this app for absolutely no reason? IMDB has probably been my most used app since the beginning of smart phones. After latest update, they ruined it. First, it's constantly freezing and crashing. But I get it, bugs happen sometimes. What's not excusable, is changing the search box method. Instead of clicking search bar which brings up the keyboard, I now have to select search at the bottom, then click the search bar at the top. It's obnoxious and pointless.

Good movie choices, however terrible ad placement. I mean, I know to keep the app free, theres going to be ads. No big deal, right? It wouldn't be a big deal if they didnt smack the ads in the middle of songs/scenes/lines. They just throw them in where ever and totally break up the movies. super annoying especially when it's right in the middle of an important scene. Save the ads for the ends of scenes please!

The app is easy to use. Ads aren't too frequent or intrusive. Apart from being useful to watch trailers and look up movies, there's also a lot of free video content, including some classics that aren't legally free anywhere else. My one complaint, which is kind of a big one, is that there's no way to cast video to Chromecast. Even when casting the screen from the Home app, the video from the IMDB app won't show on the TV screen, making family viewing difficult.

I have been using IMDb for over a decade and the website is extremely helpful. The app I've had for about 5 years and it keeps getting worse. It takes FOREVER to load anything, freezes, crashes, doesn't respond to scrolling or clicking, skips when it does scroll, opens up things I didn't click on. I can't understand why this app has had problems for so long and hasn't been fixed, only getting worse. I'm finally, after 5 years of hoping for the best, am uninstalling and just using the web page.

I love this app. Have been using IMDb before the app came out. Love all the information you get. And has settled a few debates over the years. You can find what you're looking for even if you can't remember the name of the movie/tv show or the name of an actor/actress. Sounds corny but it really is my go-to when lookin up anything to do with movies or tv shows. One thing I wish it had tho, is to be able to hear how certain names are pronounced... Would be cool if you added that.. just sayin..

I used this app every day, until the update. Now I dread opening it. Why would you take away the search bar and make an extra step to search?? AND you can't even start typing when you hit search. You have yet another additional step to get the keyboard up! And half the time I press search, it opens the page I last searched for, making even more steps to delete the old search and start a new one. I don't care about categories. Most people are on to look up a specific movie, show, or actor.

This used to be my go-to app for just about everything that was movie and TV-related. But nowadays, I can't even open it without getting an "inconceivable!" error message. If by some miracle I do somehow make it in to search for something, the chances of it loading are slim, and the chances of me being able to see episodes or a celebrity's movie catalog are even slimmer! I have no idea what has happened, but for the love of the movie and TV gods, PLEASE update this nonsense so it works again!

I like the app a lot, full of great information and being able to see photo and actor's part name with real name is what is very useful, and helps settle many a family discussion. Only problem that does come up is when no photo is available. Years ago the adds did not bother me so much (hey, it's a free site and ya gotta pay the bills), but lately there are more adds, and they pop up all over, most of the time over what your reading, it is a bit to much with add overkill now.
