Been using iNavX: Marine Navigation for a couple months now. It’s basically a handheld chartplotter app that gives you access to tons of marine charts, weather data, and more. Pretty solid if you’re into boating and sailing.
Here’s what you can do – you can plan routes, check weather forecasts, and keep track of your position on the water. And there’s also stuff like AIS tracking to see other boats around you. It’s got a ton of features, though it took me a while to figure some of them out.
Look, if you’re into marine navigation, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an all-in-one boating companion.

So here's my take on iNavX: Marine Navigation. I've tested a bunch of marine nav apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The chart coverage is impressive, with tons of providers to choose from. I like that you can access weather data and track other boats too. The only downsides are that the UI feels a bit dated and takes some getting used to. But for the price (free to download) it's a great option if you're out on the water a lot.

I had Pro for a year, it works fine but when you go to cancel/stop auto renew there is no obvious way to do that through the INavX app. Best...
App. is rubbish. You can't shift your starting position to plan a future route, maps don't render 1/2 the time, missing portions of maps I downloaded. TERRIBLE! Worse than useless....
Bad for basic use. Not intuitive. Not easy to find free maps. Can't do basic waypoints without an upgrade. Constant ads to upgrade. Can't get off the mailing list! Unsubscribe...
