I’ve been using Incode to Outcode for Ford/GM for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps vehicle technicians perform key learning, control unit replacement and other procedures by calculating the right codes. Pretty solid app if you’re a mechanic or into that kind of stuff.
Here’s what you do: you just enter the code your car gives you, and the app will spit out the correct incode for you to use. There’s also a handy guide on how to properly use the codes, which is pretty cool. And if you get the wrong code, it’ll tell you to just use the middle section – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a Ford or GM technician, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need to do those kinds of procedures.
