Flexible, great for picking up odd shifts when it suits you. Attend a training and selection day, then you're in. Can be a bit fiddly in terms of working out different procedures and facilities with different companies but you always get a map and contact number with the jobs, and are told exactly what the dress code is so there's always some way to work out where you should be. Weekly pay and if you take lots of shifts there are extra perks. Higher pay than other agencies. GENEJ3
Reviews for Indeed Flex
← Back to Indeed FlexI downloaded this app for about 2 months now, and every time it displays a job in your area, it says 'hiring'. You click on it, fill in all the required details, only for them to tell you there is no interview available. And the jobs keep coming up as 'hiring' like a rinse and repeat process. It's actually frustrating that you have to click on a job to get an interview with the Indeed Flex team when it is just for show. Uninstalling the app anyway. Good luck, fellow job seekers!
The worst! Created an account and turned out it was not my thing, I wanted to close my account (have never even used it) but it now seems impossible! It's now been 2 weeks and I still can't uninstall the bl°°dy thing, 'cause it still has my details. That's a very low point, however desperate an app may be for users, that's just too low. Not only you don't have control over your own account, but they prolong a simple procedure, that should normally take no more than few clicks, for over 2 weeks!
Fake ads. I can't onboard and unlock more jobs because the only two listed are dead. It states they're no longer accepting people when you reach the "book an interview" stage. Days later, still only those two dead ads to pick. Support was no help. Told me I could still do tasks that were clearly still locked away Terrible system. Don't bother
this app is a shame I have 10.years warehouse work experience they told me I don't have enough experience so do not use those app is a scam
I booked 2 shifts for jun 21 and June 22 with One-trac and only an hour later they were cancelled due to the employer circumstances changing. not a very professional app if your looking for longevity. I worked with rhino staging as well and they didn't even input the correct amount of hours of labor. many holes in the payment system they have.
Make sure you take pictures that you are at the workplace with you location history on. These employers will completely lie & mark you as no show messing up your account. INDEED WILL NOT TAKE YOUR SIDE. I was told a complete lie from support about the overbooked compensation & was told I was fine, I wouldn't have to do anything. These employers will lie & you can't do anything about it. Haven't got a job offer since.
I received 2 offers and then when I go in to book they are gone. I was in the app once when the job disappeared. I enjoy the freedom of not having a boss, no permanent job, meeting different people, and providing a service for pay.
Personally used the app for a better half of a year, didn't get a job offer one, waste of time
One of the most poorly programmed apps I've ever used. Stop sending me emails!!
The app is set up in a way that only the client (the employer) can see your rating (as an employee) but can't see the client's rating. This creates a culture where an employee can mistreat you, be racist and even be extremely mean to you and still get away with it. The admin enables it
Every week its an issue with time processing for the branch Same day Then indeed flex always saying the hours haven't approved yet but when I go to the on-site supervisor and Hr Everything is good on their end But indeed has no update..... very frustrating when you have things to do and can't access your money
job availability no good. I have changed my hourly rate, changed distance I would travel just about everything you can change, both up and down and nothing. I had one job I found on indeed and it brought me to indeed flex. I started onboarding I was just waiting on a background check everything else was cleared. by the time my background check came back the job was given to someone else. not my fault. by why start me on boarding and then give it to someone else. that's not right!!
Really disappointed. I joined months ago. I've been checking regularly and even though there are lots of jobs, they are very rarely hiring. On the few occasions when there is an opportunity to book an interview, it says 'all interview slots are taken' every time. I've been on the app for over 6 months and still not had any shifts. Not worth the effort to set up.
just as another comment said, everything is locked. I can see several jobs nearby but can't apply to any of them. this might be great for some areas but DFW isn't one of them. you shouldn't keep useless apps on your phone just so they can keep stealing data. not a good idea imo. this will only get worse with each corporate placation fix it or don't but don't try a tired millennial.
I've had a very bad experience with Indeed Flex late last year, for several reasons. The client at the job site kept cutting hours during the holidays while permanent employees used PTO. I also had issues with clocking in/out on the app due to technical difficulties that caused delays in my pay. But the deal-breaker was suddenly canceling all of my shifts in the new year, once the client transitioned back to the former temp agency. Long story short: don't waste your time with Indeed Flex.
Literally impossible to get started with Indeed Flex. Every job is locked, there is no way to get a foot in. In response to the comment, availablity of jobs isn't the issue. The problem is that all the jobs are locked so you can't apply and get verified. It's a completely closed shop. The comment has been updated to, again, suggest that availability is the issue. Availability is not the issue. The problem is that all the jobs advertised are locked and I can't apply for them.
The app is good so far. It reminds me of my shifts. Adds them to my calendar. Clocking In and out is a breeze. Once my background check was cleared the job pool opened up for me. The only downside I've noticed thus far is, it will sometimes show me jobs for other city's that are hours away even though I'm set for a 30mls radius. The other issue is stepping away from the job review screen for a second to check out dates and the app resets me to the beginning of the job list.
great app. Update: I've been using flex for a few months and I am disappointed. It took several weeks for my background check to clear. So I couldn't book shifts. I've worked with one employer, they have been great but flex is glitchy and has reported me a no show 3 times when I was there and clocked in and out. It's impossible to reach anyone who could actually help and the 24 hour window to reply back is not great because it doesn't matter what you say no one is listening.
This app should be used with caution. My 1st onboarding was simple but had technical issues. Then the employer selection was limited compared to other gig apps. The response time for help is 3+days. And I had a bad experience because an employer booked a shift but never arrived. I waited over 30 minutes and didn't receive a reply chat if it was canceled. Then they sent another shift for the next day but I canceled. Why would I waste money commuting there if they don't show? Bad business!
